NOBODY download those overpriced song packs. They have to realize that they can shit on the fans in that way. I refuse to buy them, I refuse to pay that much for so little. It sucks.

This isn't a song pack. According to the story it's a new GH game...

Sounds somewhat cool, and somewhat like RedOctane milking the gold mine. Should be interesting to see how good it'll actually be, esp. when they have only announced it for the PS2.

RAD! I'm excited for it. (can't really argue with you guys though cuase I don't have a 360 to compare the game to, although I know it's suppose to be better visuals and especially the audio.)

He was just referring to the idea that it is possible it will be released that way for 360 owners in the future.

I also refuse to download them. If they were a buck or two a song, or a 5-6 song pack for $10, that would be perfect. I would be willing to pay that much. I would love new songs for Guitar Hero, but I will never pay their current fees. It at least should not cost more than the entire game itself for PS2.

Also, with the PS3 now out, this move seem like a step backwards. Why release a PS2 exclusive when the next gen console is out? They probably just want to force people to buy it as many times as possible.

This is great, more guitar hero means a happier me....but they have this awesome downloadable content situation setup now (well, at least it would be awesome if we didn't get gouged out the bumholes) so it makes no sense we aren't seeing some sort announcement for the 360, whether it be a brand new disc, or announcement of a mass download song pack for the game. They make a huge deal about coming to the 360 only to backtrack and not give us the new game? I'm lost.
