All this talk of 90s cartoons and Tecmo Bowl caused me to remember one of my favorite games from my youth.

Mutant League Football, and of course later Mutant League Hockey.

For those of you that don't know these are sports games on crack. Each player is some weird creature (Skeletons, Ogres, Demons) that play off agianst other beasties. The best part about the game is you could mangle the crap out of the opposing team. You could kill the other players, you could be blown up by a hidden landmine, or you could fall off the field (going out of bounds) only to fly off into outerspace.

Oh, and did I mention you could bribe the ref? And then kill the bum when he made bad calls?

Anyone else out there want this game to pop up on VC or maybe get a update?

I LOVED mutant league hockey, nothing is better than beating the Aces with the Weenies

the mutant league games where alot of fun. I still play MLH occasionally. I like bribing the ref in football.... and when the other team finds out they chase him down and kill him.
