first off, awesome show; love the different recommendations I get from you guys but Dude, I don't know what you guys digested last week, to call this film "brilliant", I mean everyone is entitled to their own, but this film was not a great sequel in my book. Granted, the movie was good but not merely as good as the first.
The fact that Dan refrences Bourne Supremacy makes me wonder what he consideres "brilliant" filmmaking. The very reason I had a problem with the Bourne Supremacy, is the reason why 28 weeks Later fell short to me. The action sequences are shot in a way that feels like the director dropped the camera and started playing "kick the cam" as if to say, forget the actors, forget the makeup, lets just act stupid, toss the camera in a mosh pit and close in on some dude's red contacts. Bourne Supremacy sufferd from the same thing, I think Jeff would agree with me had he watched 28 Days Later.
And the sister, my god, maybe i need to revisit the film but I thought she was terrible. Please don't be offended by any of my comments, I was simply shocked to find all 3 of you in agreement. Snyder did 666 times better in DOTD, this I absoluteely agree with Alex.
;)
