Just wondering if anyone else is using a universal remote. I am using a Harmony 880 right now and I love it. I was thinking about upgrading to a Harmony 1000 but I think I need a few more devices in order to justify that!

Dude! My daughter is three. She's at the "hiding" stage. If someone leaves a remote unattended, she grabs it and squirrels it away someplace...no joke.

We actually have about eight remotes, we just juggle them.

1. TV remote
2. Cable Remote
3. TiVo remote
4. DVD remote
5. XBOX 360 Remote
6. Home theatre Remote
7. VCR remote

my youngest god daughter is four. me and her father put her in charge of the remotes when she was two (we did the same for her older sister) she keeps up with the remotes and keeps them in their "special place". if i need to change the channel, i ask her to bring me the remote. you would be surpised at how well it works

I've got a TV remote, a DVD remote, and that's it. No need for a spendy universal that I'd like.

We have a Harmony 880 and and love it!! Our old universal was a Pronto and I liked that as well, but the Harmony is so much easier to program.
