For most of us in the U.S., it is going to be a nice long holiday weekend. I am torn between heading out to Vegas after posting Diggnation or just Wii'ing the whole weekend away with Wii Bowling (damn addictive) and perhaps picking up Cooking Mama: Cook Off.

What do you guys and gals have planned?

I've been working mostly, but I have off tomorrow and only work a few hours on Monday (which is my 19th birthday by the way). I've been doing nothing but steaming and selling crabs these past few days. Oddly enough, I really hope I can get some steamed crabs on memorial day....

I still like 'em a little older.

I decided to drive to New Hampshire with the family for the weekend. I'm enjoying the slow comfortable screwing that I'm getting a the gas pump.

It's a normal weekend for me. Housecleaning and waiting for Monday roll around. I don't think it's a holiday for the company, and even if it is, I'm going to work anyway since I can and have nothing better to do.

Worked yesterday and today...off Sunday, work Monday. There's hardly such thing as a "holiday" if you work in retail. Those are the busiest times for us. Yay. Gotta love it.

College just got out so I'm starting my really really long weekend. So far every day without worrying about school seems like an eternity

Sometimes I just wanna quit what I'm doing in IT and go work retail.

No long weekend for me. Flying to Canadia for meetings on Monday and a fun filled week of conferences and back to back client meetings, finally getting home midnight Friday.

Upside is that I am trading Memorial Day for an extra day around July 4 - so I don't need to use as much vacation time for a trip to Prague :)

Prague, dude, jealous big time. Take lots of photos and post them here.

Better yet take me with you...

Better yet take me with you...:D Advantage of being an academic spouse, with a wife whose community tends to have conferences in funky locations (I did a similar trip to Barcelona last year).

Cool thing is, I get to visit places like the Sedlec Ossuary (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedlec_Ossuary), which would probably freak her out, but I find morbidly fascinating, while she is attending her conference, and then we can do the regular tourist stuff when she is done.

Whats so cool about the Ossary? the place is decorated with human bones ... like this chandellier.

As I said, freaky, but morbidly fascinating.

Oh yeah ... and Pilsner. As mentioned elsewhere, will I get thrown out of The Czech Republic for wearing a "Three Frogs" Budweisser t-shirt to the bud brewery and beer hall? ;)

Heh. Give me a call.

I got in to work today to have it confirmed as a company holiday. So I'm not happy. Working alone, everyone else off, employees getting paid to BS around today while I have to work if I want to be paid. I'm sick of holidays.

The Theater version or the extended special editions? It makes about a three hour difference.

BTW, I thought of you when I took this.

Quick OT question ...

Are http://revision3.com/forum/image.php?u=54943&dateline=1179151722 and http://revision3.com/forum/image.php?u=25937&dateline=1180361687 related??

Judging by the avatars, I would swear they were sisters.
