We take you through the second annual Maker Faire with Dan Huard and Jessica Corbin to find some of the most interesting projects out there. From two story houses on wheels to hooker shoes with LCD screens to cupcake cars we got you covered in a manor befitting what you would expect from Systm. Dan gets his hands on a car so small you can fit four of them in one parking space and Jessica takes us on a monorail built just for our four legged friends. For the climax of the episode Dan and Jessica take a ride on a mechanical giraffe.

I didn't really like this episode. Maybe it's because I don't like cars.

Just remember our official release schedule is every two weeks but we are just so filled with ideas and bursting with technical goodness that we are trying to see how long we can hold up the once a week releases. You can start taking bets on when I have a complete breakdown and start yelling at the electrical outlets on the wall.......

" Why wont you give me frosted cupcakes Mr. Wall Outlet?"
"I know maybe if i stick a butter knife in you"

Another fun episode. I like the fact that you can do different formats with Systm and it still works.

Jessica is a great host, but I do prefer Dan/Patrick/Dave for Systm. Maybe Jessica should get her own show (in addition to InDigital).

There's just something appealing about Jessica Corbin. She kinda makes me want to quit my job and following her around full-time.

But, I'm far too lazy to move from New York and my wife would kick my ass. I'd miss my kids too.

*sigh*

Hmmm... when? Don't you mean constantly? Or was it just my imagination when you were yelling and screaming at the office electrical outlets on Thursday night?

I wasn't yelling at him. We were just having a heated debate.
OK, maybe i raised my voice a little but the wall outlet knew what he did was wrong. :)

Good. I am glad that it wasn't just my imagination. I don't want to have to return to the institution again. It wasn't as fun as working with you guys.

I must say that Patrick's new appearance was kind of pleasing... :)

However, that doesn't by any means mean that I want less of actual Patrick on the show. Personally I would like to see him in some less side-kickish roles than he has been so far.

I liked this episode a lot. Good job!

Would be cool to do more "live" shows.

So I felt compelled to register and post about this episode because I felt cheated. Great topic and great content in theory, but in execution I was left unfulfilled. Why wouldn't you show the steam guy's stuff? Why wouldn't you show the automated band guy's system playing out a song with all instruments working?? Usually, I love the show, but this was such terrible coverage of such a great event. It almost seemed like a commercial for Make, intending to whet our appetite to buy a full DVD or something.

i would have to agree. last maker faire's episode was about 40 minutes if i remembered right. i've been hoarding all the maker faire videos i could find and watched system's episode last expecting another great show.

although i was happy seeing that lip thing with jessica because i hadn't seen it yet. over all i was let down

That episode was such a let down, the cars were cool but the rest of it was mainly stupid things.

Make Faire had tons of things better then what they showed... The Puppy Monorail? Okay, put that kind of crap in an extended edition or something, but that seriously isn't interesting enough to cover at all.

Overall, I was majorly (Not a word, but hey) let down and I hope the next episodes are better.

On a last note talking about Kevin's return (As if the previous things haven't sent me to Rev3 hell already) I prefer Patrick, Foo and Dave a lot better for some odd reason ;). Corbin was also nice :).

Thanks Rev3 for providing me with my technical fill where one does not exist in this lonely part of KY :).
