Its a Mac - it does stuff ... whether running on an Intel or PowerPC or 68k based chipset.
Its a PC - it does other stuff ... whether running on an Intel or ... well, and Intel chipset.
Its one of the 50000 flavours of Linux running on a - it does stuff as well ... whether running on .. hmmm ... too many options to choose.

In the end they are all PERSONAL COMPUTERS.
They do what you want them to do (most of the time).
An OS is not a religion.

(Oh yeah - the "glass effect" in Vista is called AERO ... as in AIR - OH. Like the beginning of AEROplane or AEROsmith. Calling it AEREO makes it sound like a cookie you want to dunk in milk ... and we all know that is better suited to MacOS X.).
