In ep 100, watching Alex n Kevin tool around on Google Maps without seeing what their doing on there....feels awfully pointless...

So....diggnation should steal an idea from DL.TV...and get some kind of display behind kevin n alex, where we can see what they're dicking around with, might be a bit cooler than "see that see that, inst that cool" would be less.....craptacular. Watching two guys enjoy somethng without even being able to see it .....is kind of excluding the audience.

Also, if anyone wants to get their "you got a problem? well, no ones forcing you to watch it" on, fine, but remember I'm just making a suggestion to improve their product, I'm not pointlessly bashing it.

For this type of content, it makes perfect sense, but gets away from the established "two guys sitting on a couch, kicking back with a couple of beers, and talking shit about stuff that got submitted on Kevin's website" model.

If you got a problem, no one's forcing you to watch it :p

I don't want them to add anything in the background, but it would be nice to see what they're doing/looking at sometimes. The editing just seems lazy sometimes. They could even go as far to record video out from their laptops(like we saw on recent Systm episodes) if they plan on covering things that have video/visual components.

I like the green screen, but we don't even need that. We don't need to see kev and alex the whole show. Just put the video/web page they are going "look at that" in the video like they used it... seems rev3 is getting lazy with video editing, either that or they have 1 already extremely busy guy doing all the editing... in any case, we don't need a screen (green or otherwise) behind them, we just need them to actually put stuff up. Like what was the deal with the recent pic emails that kev and alex look at, but the audience never sees?

It's a good idea depending on the show. I don't think this would be worthwhile for Diggnation since it's just two dudes chilling on a couch. If it's important, they usually do a good job of editing it in the video.

i agree with the email pics.. like the one from the 100th ep, pic of the guys hot girl! i really wanted to see her! I say a green screen and stuff is to much for diggnation its not meant to be that geeky. thats why we got TSR. if you want to see what they are see go to digg.com and click the ****ing post or go to google maps.

Well, if youre gonna steal from other shows you might look at something called 'show notes'.

Its an interesting concept where there are links to different topics discussed during the show. Its used by EVERY podcast.
Really.

At the very least, have links to the top stories that you discuss. Who knows? People might want to read the articles that are being discussed. Its very possible.

I know, I know, its a revolutionnary and bold step to take.
