Any truth to that?

No. Blackberry is a product of RIM (Research In Motion), a Canadian company.

Any truth to that?None. I don't think they even provide any of the chips used in the devices.

Where would you get that from?

Geez Louise, how can you be so ****** to ask a question in forum which would take 20 seconds to find on the net?

Here is the secret:
Go to this little site called Google.com.
Type in Blackberry.
The third link you will see is for Wikipedia.
There you will find that it is produced by a company called Research In Motion (RIM).
Click on that link for the company's wiki entry.
It is still owned by two canucks. (of which one just bought an NHL franchise. Make that 'overpaid like crazy' for an NHL franchise.)

if you're still not sure if these news are fresh you can go to that Google page I was talking about and click the news section and see if there are any recent articles about Research In Motion or Blackberry.

20 seconds is how long it took me?
How long did it take to write the original post?
