OK, I figured I'd get an answer from someone in here faster than I will from Adobe. I can't find a solution to this on Adobe's website, and google has failed me.
I get the following error when starting photoshop (see attached screenshot)
WTF is going on? How do I fix this. Normally I just wouldn't care, but whites aren't white. They are peach. I have a feeling this problem is related....
Anyone?
CS3 running on Vista.

It's a problem with the program not syncing correctly with the colors put out by your monitor. Essentially your monitor is out of gamut to ps. The Samsung monitor you're using should come with a program called magictune to help you calibrate your colors. If you've got it just recalibrate your color scheme and everything should work. If not go here

or here

for more information on fixing color issues with samsungs
the program is available here

hope this helps. :)

Grrrr.... this is so aggravating!! First, thanks for trying to help me, I appreciate it. +REP for ya. :)
I checked out all of those links you supplied, but none of them helped. My monitor doesn't come with a magictune software. Even on the Samsung website, under downloads that program is not listed.
http://www.samsung.com/support/productsupport/download/FileView.aspx?cttfileid=1350919&type=Monitor&typecode=300100&subtype=LCD+%2f+TFT&subtypecode=300101&cmssubtypecode=&model=940B&filetype=DR&language=
However, I did download the latest driver for my monitor. Installed it, rebooted, and CS3 is STILL giving the same stupid error.
Anyone have a clue why this is happening?

Adobe Gamma does not install with CS3 and Vista. It's not in my CP anywhere, and Adobe's site says it doesn't install with CS3 and Vista.
Alas, I finally came to a solution.
Right-click on my desktop, click on personalize, and then click on the following crap in the attached screen shot. Removed the samsung one, and added NTSC... fixed. White is white now.
