Don’t stop believing – I’ve found myself singing it in my head ever since the Sopranos finale. Darn you, David Chase.
Mr. Wizard – To be honest, I had to look him up to remember who he was. I guess I really didn’t watch him much growing up.
K Fed – That guy is the biggest moocher ever. Yet, he somehow seems saner than Britney. Barely….
A friend of mine just got a job at my company, so I’m meeting her for lunch, close to her home, which is also where my LCS is. It’s basically going to come out today that I read comics, which she has had no idea of after working with her for a few years. Should be interesting.

I generally go during lunch and they’re all up there generally. I’m assuming they physically get them before Wed.
My store has them delivered at 10 and opens it's doors at 11 so you can always count on them for lunch.
Other stores are different, for example one store in Burlington VT doesn't get it's books till 4:30 wed afternoon (and then takes forever getting them on the shelf.)

the idea for rocky balboa seemed more believable than this. Rocky movies were always about the underdog triumphant so the audience has an easier time accepting an aged rocky. Rambo on the other hand was about pure badass-ness, explosions and killing, something i don't believe a 60yr old stallone can pull off believably.
BOO to you Sly

The first Rocky is definitely worth checking out, it is indeed a classic, i'd avoid the rest though (the second one is only okay and it goes downhill from there). Rambo is outright ridiculous. Its a fun action movie but it actually made me laugh at it's absurd violence at some points.

Street lights! People! Whoo-aaahh!
"Don't Stop Believin'" is, generally speaking, gibberish, right? I'm not just slow, am I? It's like a Mad Lib?
Mr. Wizard introduced me to the coolness of dry ice; I never see it without thinking of him.
Speaking of things that stay in your head and never leave: Today, I would give just about anything for a potable can of Crystal Pepsi.
Well, not anything. But a lot more than you'd think.
Well we could certainly make it a Mad-Lib:
Just a small town (NOUN), livin in a (ADJECTIVE) world
She took the midnight (NOUN) goin anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in (PLACE)
He took the (TIME OF DAY) train goin anywhere
A (NOUN) in a (ADJECTIVE) room
A smell of wine and (ADJECTIVE) perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Their shadows (VERB) in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

I worked in a liqour store for a few years, so I've accumulated my fair share of drink recipe books. The best one I've seen is the the Little Black Book for Bartenders that Playboy puts out. It gets pretty in depth with measurements, and the why's and how's of alcohol.
Also if you want to learn how to make a certain drink I'd check out TikiBar TV. They have only done 30 some odd episodes, but if they have made the drink you are looking for you can't go wrong.

Oh, silly kwok. There is only one recipe you need to remember when dealing with alcohol.
Step 1: Become invited to a friend/co-worker/parent/religious official's house for dinner. Bring a large bag.
Step 2: After eating, loiter around for after-dinner cocktails. Make special note of the source of this alcohol.
Step 3: Wait until your host has to adjourn to the restroom.
Step 4: Speed to the liquor cabinet, liberating anything that smells potent.
Step 5: Go home immediately, find a bucket.
Step 6: Pour everything you have stolen into this bucket. Call all of your friends while simultaneously mixing your brew like a witch over a cauldron.
Step 7: Find as many straws as you can.
Steps 8-19: Irrelevant, as you will not remember them.
Step 20: Pay your hospital bill and return home to your shattered belongings.
Hmm... not so much a recipe as a process. Effective, none-the-less.

The best way to stay active would probably be to find a good, modern fitness center (not one of those 100 year old places where guys stay all day and bench 20 bazillion pounds) and try out all they have to offer. Maybe swimming is your thing, or maybe pickup basketball or weights, maybe even climbing their rock wall if they have one.

I signed up for a kickboxing class at my local YMCA and have found that (or if you have a boot camp class of sorts) to really get you quickly back into shape. The King Tut exhibit was kinda interesting, but somewhat underwhelming. The Tutster himself was not there, but there were a lot of cool artifacts. Very claustrophobic. Too many kids. And...seriously now...does there always have to be an old lady on a malfunctioning Rascal scooter at every exhibit in every museum in the country? There's always at least one, and they always run over my foot at least twice.
It was cool to see a bust of Akhenaten, Tut's dad. I've written several papers on the guy. Really interesting, and it's crazy that he's overshadowed by his son.

Nice Fred.
In the Aorta no less, that's a serious self-stabbing.

It's called dedication Cam. The problem with the kids today is a lack of dedication. This man has no such problem.

I saw that one video of the office space trailer made to look like a drama, Here's one of Garden State as a pyschological thriller
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gkOKJX2AAxA"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/gkOKJX2AAxA" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
the url goes in between and [ /youtube] but without the spaces

What programs do you guys use (if any) to organize and track your comic collections? I saw an ad for Comic Collector Live in the latest Punisher: War Journal. Does anyone use that software? It's all free, which makes it seem kinda shady.
HEY Newsarama just announced...
MARK WAID will be writting the Flash again!!!
Good news. Not that Guggenheim has been bad, but Waid has such a great handle on the Flash, I'm excited.

Best to keep all the garbage in one place I guess. Do we know the teams?
no but we do know that the over-arching story comes out of One More Day
Terry moore is taking over Spider-Man loves Mary Jane
rumors of hitwomen and lesbian sex unfounded
From One More Day Panel:
"Is this going to resolve the Aunt May subplot?" Quesada ominously said "Tragically, yes."

I use mycomicpile.com, which is not nearly so refined or easy to use as Comic Collector Live. However, it does contain the entirety of my collection, and I am far, far to lazy to transfer the entirety to a new software.
Here (http://www.mycomicpile.com/view_collection.php?a=pile&user=Mithel&p=0&t=Master%20Pile) it is.

I use ComicPriceGuide.com (http://www.comicspriceguide.com/default.asp). It cost like $60 per year, but it's worth it in my opinion. Easy to use and I've got my entire collection on it. It even generates "needs/wants" lists. Check it out.

Is that gonna be some kind of series of online shows, or something? Looks promising.

According to AICN it's a short film which will be doing the festival circuit.
I like the online serial idea though. It's perfect for that format.

Especially with dudes like that. I've never seen one that I can really get behind, so maybe Mr. Rogen could change that.
Or not. Either way, it'll kick ass.
