This Week: (http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=8193373&publicUserId=5580066#comments) The Good Shepherd, Xbox 360 Problems, Thor, The Black Diamond Detective Agency and Command and Conquer 3.

Next week, look forward to a Louis Kwok fill in and the week after that, I'll be back for a pretty huge column. However, that one will be my last.

It's been a week of endings (The Sopranos, SiP) and you can add mine to that list.

This whole weekly column thing sprang out of my multi-media blogs at 1up and I used the format to make myself write regularly and hone my critical skills. That experiment will reach it's tenth installment when I return (sans the D.C. Trip blog ) and I think that that's a great number to go out on.

Don't worry, I'll keep on writing, and when I put up new content, It will in my sig and I'll alert you all in the GD thread.

Nice as always, Six. I'm always impressed with the amount of work you put into this blog; all the background info, the photos, even the parenthetical credits after the writer and artist names.

This is why I'm avoiding the 360. That just sounds like a mess.

I'm gonna give Good Shepherd a shot.

Thanks man, that's one reason I'm leaving the weekly format, so I can go more in detail on certain things, for example, I would have loved to do 2,000 words on Black Diamond Detective Agency but with football (which has become hell recently, a reason that my mood has been in the gutter for a while) and work I don't have the time to go that into detail and write other content to give the column the variety I think such a format require.

I'll have plenty, but they'll all be second hand, most of my time is spent in briefings with current and retired officers on the changing shape of warfare. There is a paintball game, but I'm going to have to do a ton of push-ups and lunges to keep from sliding back too much from all of the workouts I've been doing for the past 8 months (this will be the longest I've gone since then without lifting) that's how inactive this thing's seems to be.

That sounded dickish and arrogant, I'm not a body builder or anything

Sony is trying to take a piece of Nintendo's pie (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3160287) good for them.

Nice Column Six. I was especially curious about the X-box 360 problems having just got one.

Have fun at war college.
