Isn't type in photoshop vectorized by default?
Maybe I missed the point about using Illustrator for type, but it seems to me that you could just leave it non-rasterized.

Maybe I missed the point about using Illustrator for type, but it seems to me that you could just leave it non-rasterized.
Photoshop does leave text as an object, rather than rasterising it straight away but you can't do a great deal to it. In Illustrator you can use all the power of the vector shaping tools to really change the way it looks.

I thought so too at first, but i do blocky text when i print stuff out.
