Me and a friend of mine used to come up with little geeky challenges like this constantly, so here's an outlet for any sort of comics related challenges or scenarios for us to mull over/argue about. First up:
Every Avenger and X-Man in history is comin' after you.
You can only choose 7 DC characters to defend you. Heroes only.
Who is in your Justice League of Bodyguards?

Pre-Crisis Superman, whose dickery knows no bounds and could probably solo 80 percent of those rosters
ION from the Winnick run is ditto the above minus the dickery.
So basically, everyone else is to catch any stragglers

To avoid situations in which one character is omnipotent, let's stick to characters at their current power levels.
Of course, if anyone has another game they want to present, then so shall it be!

I got one, for any fans of the venture bros.
Who would win in an all out fist fight between Brock Samson and John Matrix from commando (who was Brok before brock was Brock...that made more sense in my head).
What happens if they team up?
Hmmm, only 7 eh?
Let's see how my DC cred holds up. (wait DC cred?)
Okay, Superman and Batman. Cause, well, alone they could handle most of the others.
For magic protection Zatanna (whoo Fishnets!!) and the Spectre (he holds worlds apart)
Let's see,
How about Metamorpho? He's got a lot of untapped offensive capabilities.
Power Girl as a last line of defence (plus, you know, easy on the eyes)
And the Karate Kid, cause he is the man who will fight for my honour. He'll be the hero I've been dreaming of.

All I really need to be prtected from the MU are Batman and Superman watching my back. Nobody out smarts Batman and no one out hits Superman. You can never go wrong by loading up on Kryptonians though.

Other than Hulk, Thor and anyone with magical powers MU is looking pretty lite in this thing. I suppose Batman can invent some kind of anti-hulk bat-missile to take down the Hulk but Thor could be a problem. Oh wait, there's Captain Marvel for that sort of thing.
