I finally got around to iFanboy's video podcast, "Funny," and it made me think of newspaper comic strips I've enjoyed over the years - Doonesbury, Bloom County, Calvin & Hobbes, etc.

Do you still read newspaper comics, and if so, which ones are your favorites?

I loved Bloom County back in the day.

DOn't read the paper much anymore. But I do enjoy me some Sherman's Lagoon.

I guess pvponline.com is the closest I get now.

Family Circus always has a bit of a bite to it.

Foxtrot's kinda cool. What's that other one I like...

I don't really read comic strips in the newspaper anymore, but I do own the complete Calvin & Hobbes, the complete Little Nemo in Slumberland and a few of the Penny Arcade collections.

I have dug FoxTrot for a long time, and was bummed when it switched to just weekend strips.

In my ever so humble opinion, there is absolutely nothing to redeem the modern funny pages.

I haven't read the paper in a while, but when I did as a kid I loved Calvin & Hobbes, Fox Trot, and earlier Non-Sequitir

I used to be a huge Far Side fan. I probably have every collection that was ever put out.

Good to see some Doonesbury love here. In the comic world it stands alone.

Peanuts is a favorite, I started picking up the collected editons, and alot of that stuf was abit dark, but always biting and funny
