WOW! I never, in a million years would've seen this coming. Marvel has done a great job lately of getting big name creators on niche titles. First Whedon on Runaways and now this. Marvel must be bringing a lot of dump trucks full of money to a lot of houses...

I can't wait for his run to start, but I am not looking forward to the embarrassment telling my CBG to add this to my pull list.

Yay! I've been enjoying the hell out of SM <3 MJ since those MJ minis that came out a couple years back ("Homecoming" and what was that other one...can't recall). Perhaps more folks will feel less ashamed to pick it up now. Other than USM, it's the only Spidey book I bother to read.

McKeever gets all the little things so damn right in SM <3 MJ. Gwen Stacy's characterization in the book? Brilliant.

This is certainly intriguing news. I bought the first collection of this book for my sister and I read it and really liked it. I should buy it for myself and pick up the others.

I've heard good things about the book before, I guess I've just never been man enough to pick it up. Now seems like a good time...

I've seen a lot of talk on this book, but I haven't been a big Spidey fan recently. I might have to look into this now.

So what is the premise of this book? Is it told from the point of view of Mary Jane? Is it more geared towards the younger crowd?

It is geared toward younger readers. There's very little "super-hero" in it though. Mostly high school relationship type stuff. But the writing is really good, funny and clever. Art is sorta meh (it's that manga look).

I too am intrigued by this - as big of a fan of Strangers as I am - I never just bought everything Terry worked on other than SIP (i.e. Birds of Prey, Buffy etc.) but this does seem like an intriguing fit. Combined with the positive opinion of this book so far, I'll give it a try.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see more work at Marvel from Terry Moore in the future though...

I did enjoy those few Buffy comics Terry did and have a few issues of Paradise Too! around the house somewhere. Yes, "enjoyable" is how I would best describe them as well.

Terry Moore should write Cable/Deadpool. I'd at least try it to see how weird it was.

I'm gonna take a look at SM Loves MJ at the lcs this week. I like a good relationship book and I don't mind the manga style so long as it isn't the super-deformed style.

I really like the art in it.

Yeah, it's good stuff. Miyazawa did an issue or two of Runaways. That villain made of bees I think...
