Nothing turns me on more than hearing tales of passion. Think back to that magical moment you had your first intimate experience. Your lips quivering, knees weakend, goosebumps all over your body, rush of blood to your head, hightened sense of touch. It may be nothing but another memory now but then, THEN, it was everything to you. Relinquish the details of your lost innocence, tell me all about your first experience with Geekdrome.

Wow, no replies. This is truly sad. How about I tell you about my first pen and paper D & D experience?

I watched a 500 person gang bang. At the end it looked like a bulldog throwing up a gallon of mayonaise.

I was chatting on an IRC server for a danish pc magazine, and one of the people sent me a link to geekdrome saying: "Hey, here's a podcast about all that stupid shit you always talk about."
He was right, except I'm pretty sure he ment "interesting and intellegent" instead of stupid.

Been watching since.

I heard about them after watching a Diggnation where Alex mentioned the new podcast on Rev3. Started with the Kevin Smith saga then fast forwarded to the current episode and then worked my way back through the weeks. I lurked the forums for a bit, and just as the oppertunity arised I attacked it's jugular and have been bleeding it dry ever since. These forums sustain me. Your souls are mine... Feed me...

I read on newsaskew.com that Kevin Smith was a guest on this podcast called Geekdrome(WTF is that I thought). I watched episode 13, love it, watched/listened to episodes 1-12 before episode 14 came out, and I've been watching show and posting on the forums ever since.

xxxthundercatxxx, you can't have my soul but you can tear out my beating heart like Mola Ram.

If it weren't for me holding him back, Snarf would also violate Hank and Cheese with his little pink thing in ways you could only dream of. He's one sick mother ****er.

I had just found my iPod after it had been "lost" in the couch, and wanted to try out this podcast thing. I typed in movies and videogames into the iTunes search saw this little podcast that had just started up. I've now been listening/watching since episode 2 or 3. I remember the first time I heard "they should call it robotitties," and I know these guys had me hooked. I never commented on the blogspot site, and waited a little while before joining the Rev3 forums.

I think I was just bored one day and decided to download the newest episode. I know, not very passionate or anything. But it did get me hooked.

If you really, really want to know, he was so small and so quick I didn't even know it had started before it was over. "When are you going to start?" "I'm done." "Oh, uh, it was so good I, uh, didn't have time to, uh...." Funny to tell, but horribly sad and icky to recall.

As far as Diggnation/Geekdrome/etc. go, I'm still a relative newb having only heard about Digg in July and the rest in the lact couple months. But it's hooked me.

I like mayonnaise, but now, at the thought of mayo porn.... EW.

A friend told me about geekdrome a while ago but I hadn't been bothered to check it out. The first episode I finally decided to check out was #32. But I didn't like it. So I watched another then another and have been working my way back ever since. I'm mostly hooked cos it's a great show but there is a great community and Jlo and Dan actually interact with that community.

Of course, my first time involved copious amounts of alcohol. I was drunk and bored and had just finished watching Diggnation, so I decided to download this shit. At the time I really thought it sucked.

Now, I think it sucks less.

I looked on the revision 3 page one day and it was there. I downloaded it and it reminded me of my early 20's spent at the comic book shop talking about shit. What fun times.

I picked up a flyer at Cat's store, so I downloaded the latest episode at the time watched it and was hooked. But I didn't start posting until I was on the show and that was just a little after they switched to the old rev forums.

I was a big fan of diggnation at the time....and I saw this strange podcast with an interesting logo begging me to "please...give me a download." I resisted until boredom made me download it. Since then, I've been hooked. Darn boredom. :o

For work, I needed to test out downloading/subscribing to and playing a video podcast. I didnt want to watch Diggnation or TikiBar over and over, so I needed new content. I found the first video epside (10, I think) of Geekdrome. About 15 episodes later, I got around to signing up on the forums I think. heh.

What a ****in mistake that was.

I had just gotten my video ipod and discovered podcasts... I was searching for podcasts about movies and it just sounded like fun. I instantly fell in love and have been a faithful forum member eversince the day after that :)

I watched every episode of Diggnation at work on Revision 3 and I needed something else to entertain me and so I gave Geekdrome a chance. I personally thought the show sucked until London talked about his shopping with his mom experience and Robotitties and I was hooked. We need more drumming from Dan and rapping from London though...

A little birdy whispered in my ear (or sent it over aim...details) that a new podcast was in the works, and that I may want to check it out. So, I've been listening since episode one.

I watched TSS (The Screen Savers) before on Tech TV / G4 and when Kevin left and started Revision 3 and Digg, I started to listen to Diggnation in my car (there is a lot of traffic where I live so listening to podcasts helps keep me awake.) Then I heard Alex mention the drome when they interviewed Kevin Smith. Once I started listening to that I was hooked... after a while I started to just listen more to Geekdrome than episodes of Diggnation, just hearing Jon rip into Dan cracks me up.

I was just screwing around online one day back in January and found this blogspot page and thought what the hell then came the move to rev3 and the forums I lurked around for a few weeks before finally registering and having my life taken away from me.

I must admit I didn't hear of the show till the video started so (being the anal retentive completist I am) I went back and d/l all the original audios and slapped them on my pod of I. Luckily I had a road trip that week from Florida to NC so I proceeded to listen to every audio ep on the way there one after another. I had already grabbed a few vid ones too on my laptop so I watched up through the Kevin Smith eps all within a week of hearing of the show. I may have been a little late to the game, but I think I made up for it with my training montage style of catching up.

I had been meaning to post in this thread for awhile but life, as in work got in the way. I also didn't want to be a debbie downer but seeing as this thread is off the home page, http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/images/smilies/shaqfu.gif it!

The following is a excerpt from an e-mail I sent to the mother drome.

“I literally started watching the show 4 or 5 days after my adopted mother died, I was really depressed I didn't want to do anything I really just wanted something passive, so I loaded up on podcasts curled up in bed and zoned out in front of my tv. Then I found this little gem, first time I laughed in days. I quickly zipped through the archives, and became the (insert fat joke) huge stalker fan that I am today.”

Been watching since episode 11.

Well I was sitting in my cubicle and this friend of mine, says "YO! Check this shit out! Its great." So with that being said, I was watching the COMIC CON '06 and man it was hilarious. I will never forget that moment, I was DROMED.

The first episode I watched was when E3 had passed and I wanted to see their coverage on it, but I really only got into it about 9 or 10 episodes ago since they were reviewing Talladega Nights, and it made me think about how much I liked them when I really wanted to hear what they thought of Snakes on a Plane. Then I just started feeling really gay for them when I found out that they actually talked to people on the forums.

I found them the same way any man finds a lover, trolling the back alleys for crack. or I was watching Diggnation and they said something about it. Im not sure . But after i watched the Kevin Smith episodes i thought to myself, shit these guys suck i could do this in my sleep and with some *****in fx, but then i couldnt watch and judge them every week. So i didnt launch my kick ass show FANDROME 2000.(2000 cause its the future)
