So I just watched Hard Candy (spoilers)

After hearing the guys mention it on the show at some point, I decided to check it out, and I must say that I am quite disappointed. I mean, after all of that the guy dies (like we didn't see that coming 2 seconds after she drugged him), and we find out NOTHING about her motivations or what really happened to this other girl that was killed. So what we're left with is a dead guy, who we don't know anything about, and some crazy girl, who we know even LESS about.

This isn't to say that it wasn't directed really well. At one point when the chick transitions from kind of understanding to serious again and the color pallet goes from colorful to almost monotone was really awesome (I'm a sucker for good use of color).

I just wish we could have actually found out something solid about these characters. All we're left with is questions, such as, "Well alright, so WHY did all of that happen?"

Did anyone else feel the same way, or am I going to get flamed to death? :o

I enjoyed the film. Could have used more back story - but for the most part it kept me watching. That one scene (if you've seen it you know what I'm talking about) was awesome!

I hope to be a successful fashion photographer like him one day...without the, you know - pedophile stuff, of course. :p
