Ok, so I love diggnation, and I am thinking about becoming a member. However, when I looked at it, the donations scheme seems a bit expensive, if there was a scheme for like $30usd/year I would.... anyway, if I do become a member, is there an rss feed for members? So I could feed it into itunes and get it straight away on sundays (aus time)?

It would be really cool if Revision3 could talk to Apple into subscribing to their content on itunes for 35 dollars a year.

I would pay if it wasn't a recurring payment. Give us more options and you might get more members.

Agreed to both above. Logan, that's a good idea!

There is a 50 dollar a year one i believe. No, the rss feeds are not live on saturday night (USA), you have to go to the rev3 website and download from there. pm Jay on the forums maybe he'll help setup a new payment tier.
I was thinking about the pricing before I just signed up and came to the conclusion that it's cheaper than any shows on iTunes and I typically enjoy it more. I'm willing to pay $5 a month for almost 4 hours of diggnation enjoyment but I also get other great shows like TRS and Pixel Perfect.
I do agree though, a season pass like system on iTunes would be extra helpful.
Ok guys, message delivered... We'll look into different pricing.
We're adding additional content to the members options (stuff we're not going to release to the general public), maybe we'll change the membership options at the same time.
Using paypal for us was necessary because we had no infrastructure to accept payments... We'll work on some alternatives now that we're building a web development staff.
(Send us your resumes, btw...)

Great! Both me and my wife loves Diggnation and we would love to support it more, but having our money withdrawn from our credit card automatically from a company outside of the country where we live, feels pretty unpleasant and not very safe. With more ways to pay we would without any doubt become members directly, since Diggnation is the best show we watch together on our HD-set every week. RSS-feeds for the early shows would also be appreciated.
We also hope that there will be a live Diggnation i London sometime so we can come down from Sweden to experience the show more directly. San Francisco is a little bit to far away. :)

Different pricing options have been brought up before but I think it was too early for Rev3 to do much about it then...Like Jay said, they did not have the infrastructure to handle much else. It was nice to see the comment that they are working on it now...more content etc. I have not become a member yet, but may depending on the other options.
Yeah, and about the last comment...resumes? I am sure these are all for jobs in CA tho...right??? (She says hoping she is wrong...)

So, bumping this thread, any more news about an rss feed for members? I still don't see any more options for other types of donations too. Those are my only two complaints about donating to rev3 to become a member. If they give us more options for how much we want to donate, and an rss feed for the early downloads of diggnation, then I would become a member. Otherwise I will just keep waiting till wednesday to get my diggnation fix.

I'd up my donation for HD formats on a few selected shows. Not Diggnation, that would be silly. But, inDigital and Pixel Perfect would really benifit.

Hmm. as i find myself here on a daily basis now and enjoying so many shows i do want to donate and probably next week when my new card comes in ( damn you subway *shakes fist * ) i will. But one issue i do have is the RSS feed.
So im to understand that you cant just feed it into iTunes? I would really enjoy a automated rss retrival system. Videos i watch on my tv and i have a nice little meda center kinda thing i have going on with iTunes. I dont mind switching out to another player, but i would really like to keep it all automated.
Worst case ill just pay and wait anyway.

It's a major issue right now which will be worked on, but for now I'm sorry it's not available.

Hey MaX PL that's really uncalled for. If you don't want to pay for Diggnation early you can wait a while until its released to the public.

Huh, they provide this cool forum. They don't even have to do that, now do they?

No worries, im easy :) Im just happy to contribute and be part of this positive thing. Im sure the kinks will get worked out in the long haul. Thnx bud.
*edit*
Max try to understand the scope of this. This is their job and it starts by providing us with content that they love and we love. I for one have been with this gang a long time, i have much respect from the techtv days and i want to see them do well cause they are honest and good people that have PROVEN themselves as such in the past time and time again. They deserve a little donation from us for their efforts so they can eat, buy a car, live comfortably, higher me in a year or so ... opps that last one slipped :)
Anyway, you get the point. Just think about it bud. Make sure you not angry over something else and projecting it here.

Yeah, site overhaul in the works and I'm taking not of all the things that members need to submit to Prager since I'm in the forum way more than he is.
