Great show guys.

Can't wait for the relationship show on Wednesday.

Can't wait to listen to this one tomorrow morning. SiP #90 was def. my favortie book this week. Ron gave it a really nice write up on the site. Great pick, dudes. Sad to see SiP go though.

Great show. I died at the Darrell question. I moderate the Bendis Board, and when I first heard your show, I mentioned it on the site to see if there were other listeners, which is when Darrell (aka ds9) chimed in with the "I'm a regular on the show" comment. He is a character.

Also, was it weird doing it live in front of an audience? Was an effort made to SEEM like you're paying attention to what each other is saying?

It was totally fun doing it in front of an audience. I'm not gonna lie, because it's a rush to get an audience of people laughing. But then, it was a great, and very receptive audience too.

There was a huge effort to stop us from having an all out slap fight. Normally, we have to do the show 2-3 times before we do one where a brawl doesn't break out. This time, we made it on the first try, and then after the show, we just beat the shit out of each other.

I know of a few podcasts that wouldn't be able to pull off the live audience show, but you guys did a really good job. You brought them into it, without it being all about, "Hey look, people are here with us!".
Nicely done, gentlemen, nicely done.

Loved the live episode! Hope there’ll be more live ones in the future. Was there any update on getting a BBQ hookup?

We had a lot of fun so there's a good chance we'll do one in San Diego.

Was there any update on getting a BBQ hookup?

Look for that in the next show.

Would you guys consider doing Wizard World Philly next year?

What do you guys look for in a con? Is it the guest list? The panels? The loot available?

....The loot available?
Are we talking freebies here? Do they hand out a lot of freebies at cons?
I work for a car company, and have recently started going to Auto Shows and events. I can't believe the amount of free crap they give out. If a Con is anything like that sign me up!

I now own about 5 free copies of a Wizard magazine. All I need is a free birdcage and a free irritable parrot and I'm set.

Yeah, there's some free swag, but nothing spectacular.

In that case I withdraw my previous statement.

Would you guys consider doing Wizard World Philly next year?

It's possible. We have recently commissioned a reexamination of our staunch anti-Wizard Convention policy.

What do you guys look for in a con? Is it the guest list? The panels? The loot available?

The things we look for are not easily quantifiable. Location, date, cost, guests, fun factor, etc. They all sort of mix together.

Best episode yet, guys!

Great as always.

Out of curiosity, how many people were in attendance? I tried to gauge it by the laughter, but it was hard to tell. Sounded like a great turn-out, though. And I kind of expected people to be yelling and shouting through-out. Seemed like a pretty well-behaved crowd.

And right before the show started I stabbed a random audience member, just to show I meant business. Prison yard rules.

I had a high school teacher who told us the same thing the first day of school to instill fear in us (except he wanted to behead a random student and display his head on a pike in class). You may have a future in education!

I'd run if I saw this, too.

You should have gone into the audience and let people do shout-outs. That's what the cool shows are doing nowadays.

I know for a fact that I had that figure too- I think I may still have it actually...I loved the 2nd and 3rd tier characters from that line

Clawful was the man. Sadly I think he was one of my figures that I had "doing recon" in the tall grass in the corner of my back yard. My father decided to mow that part of the lawn one day. Sadly both Clawful and StayPuff Marshmallow Man went to that big ol' toybox in the sky.
