So with the oncoming year in the Marvel universe seeming like it's going to be very Skrullcentric, I thought it would be nice if we listed the essential tradedigestable Skrull storylines for those who aren't that familar or need a refresher on the race.
So let's start...

Honestly? I'm just going to wait for the blasted recap page. This Skrull thing doesn't sound terribly interesting to me. I really can't drum up any excitement over it unless a lot of people die and stay in the ground.
Reality /= expectation.

the funny thing is.... i never really read too many huge Skrull storylines. So i can't wait to see what Bendis does.

I picked up the Kree/Skrull war trade this weekend based solely on the upcoming storylines (and the fact that people said it was a great Avengers story). Haven't read it yet though, i'll keep you posted
You can also get the Kree Skrull war in Essential Avengers VOl 6.
At least I'm pretty sure it's vol. 6 check on the back cover before you buy it.
Anyways it's good because it also has everything leading up to the war, and a little of the fallout. Plus it's cheap, the only thing you'll miss is the colour.
THe only other important Skrull stories I can think of would be the one in Fantastic Four where their ability to shapeshift is taken. And the Silver Surfer Storyline when they get it back...(so maybe not that important)
ANd apparently the Skrull Kill KRew was good, just rereleased in trade, though I've never read it.

I think it's even a comedy style book. Can't think of ANY Mark Millar COMEDY stuff, let alone Morrison.

Wanted is pretty funny, and while i've never read it, the Unfunnies HAS to be comedy doesn't it?

Actually the Unfunnies is billed as a Horror comic. And the way it deals with Pedophilia, rape and other subjects is pretty horrifying, I'm still a little upset that it never finished, I wanted to know if Millar could make something out of one of the most disturbing comics i've ever read.
And Wanted, while funny, was still mostly an action book.
