I might have to buy this game since it's apparently so good they had to ban it in certain countries.

the story/concept/idea is 'crap' and the publisher has low values in promoting and making money with gutter type games...feel free to play it in your country
in the u.k. theirs people who felt it didn't deserve or warrant a certificate.

also feel free to QUOTE all of what i say not just a snippet as people can be misled with just a cut n paste of a partial reply i made.

and banned it should be!

it's a crap game with very low 'values'...yeah it's only a 'game' but youhave to admit it's a lame way to make a new game and their tatics in promoting
games seems to be push the 'reasonable taste' out the window and just make as sick as possible game as you can as then you'll get free press on the game...get it banned than it's SELL just on the fact that people desire stuff that's surposidly banned from sale...rather than the publisher astually going out to make a GOOD
entertaining game they take the quick sleezy shortcut of old game design but with added buckets of gore!....

reminds me of how the sex pistols made 'god save the queen'....it wasn't selling that well till the bbc banned it!...then it went to number 1
cheap moves...rather than cutting edge gaming they prefer cutting thoats!

Glad to see your the non-judgemental type cresshead. Personally I'll judge something after I've experienced it, rather than judge it based on what the media tell me.

I should also add that there's been very little press for Manhunt 2 prior to the BBFC banning it yesterday. So the publisher's weren't actively trying to get publicity for the game based on the violence in it. Also, I'm 30 years old, I don't think anybody should be able to tell me that I'm not legally allowed to buy a videogame in the country that I live. Fortunately I should be able to get a copy from Europe.
