you know what a car that runs on air is, you dont have to do shit, it says right on the video, you can go from Cali to new York in one tank of compressed air, and when you run out, you plug in the same thing you use to fill up the tires, and for just $2 of electricity your tank is full again

but what about the poor oil companies! We would be taking away from them their 4th vacation homes, their private planes, and they'd have to start thinking of alternative means to rip us a new asshole.

Holy crap, now we have Vegie oil, water,whiskey,and now air to drive people? If this catches on then the big oil companys will need to lose all of their houses.
Oh and this is kick ass!(Don't know if you can say ass though...>.>)

Ridiculous for the fact that this will NEVER hit the mass market. Do you honestly think governments would let this happen.... everything is one big business... oil, etc...

Vehicles that run on things other than oil are nothing new. But of course government regulations and oil companies squash the alternatives flat.

I saw this story and thought it was a great idea. The compressed air car is really only good for short city commutes. However, it would do a lot to restore air quality in big cities. There is a hybrid model that run a small compressor with a gasoline engine.
It doesn't really solve the energy crisis since you have to use energy to compress the air and that enegry comes from someplace.
Cool idea, but hmmmm you know.
