I'll be in Denver later this week for a conference and would like to hit up any of the LCSs that I can reasonably find. I'll be staying at the Grand Hyatt in downtown. Any suggestions?

welcome to the forums

this is a site that I usually use http://the-master-list.com/

It doesn't "vouch" for the stores or anything but at least it's a list

I went to Mile High Comics when I was in Denver on tour, and it was great, vibrant with a good amount of people talking comics.

I believe I bought Neverwhere on DVD there.

Thanks Fred, I’m going to be in Chicago tomorrow and found a shop that’s 4 minutes from my fiance’s house! Hooray!

glad to help. I use it whenever I need to call around to find something or someone here asks: "Hey, does anyone know a shop in Athens, GA?"

so I thought I'd just throw it out there.

Avoid Mile High! There store is large and there are some nice people but there is a much better shop to visit. Check out http://freetimecomics.com/index.html
They include bags and board free with each book!

I went to Mile High for six months and was shocked at there business practices! They way overcharge for backissues, toys (sorry collectibles) and just about everything.

If you don't want to travel to far there is one in downtown Denver on Colfax. I haven't been there so you takes your changes!
