People can't just leave things alone, can they? Apparently 17 Academy Awards wasn't enough.

Whoever wins the bid for turning this book into a film is going to make a fortune. And rest assured it's not because this is going to be a great film, it's because the masses will be duped by its billing as "The Prequel to The Lord of the Rings".

this isn't a book by J.R.R. Tolken, it's by his son Christopher. i don't care what ol' chris says either.

there is slim chance this will be turn into a movie. studio scoop up rights left and right just so the other guy won't get it.
