View Full Version : Marvel "Indie" Anthology Details Beginning to Come Out
The details for the forthcoming Marvel "indie" anthology are beginning to come out. Read about it here (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=117317). It seems cool to me. It's certainly a stretch for Marvel and something that isn't a sure-fire winner. I think it's cool and ballsy of them.

Nice! I can't wait for that one! Around Comics was talking about one also.. I'm not sure if its the same one though..

This is shaping up to be probably one of the ten best things that company has done ever. It's got so much potential to be something great that I'm sure it'll take a good ten issues before they realize no one is buying it and cancel it to put out another Avengers book...
See? See how I did that? I looked like I was going to be all upbeat and positive for once and then WHAMMY!! in comes the truth like a 2x4 to the gonads...
they're expecting this to do very little monthly
they're angling for trade and book store support

I'm really looking forward to this. Especially after seeing those preview pages. They really are using some different artists and I didn't think they would have wandered to far from the norm.
Congrats, Marvel, you've changed my opinion today.
