Not sure if you guys have seen this before, but it's a pretty fun time killer.
Just a simple way to design your own heroes. If you make something cool, post it in the thread for everyone to see. I'll post some of mine to get things going.

It's not working for me. All I can do is select pose and skin.

This is bad news for comedy fans. I was attempting to build a character called "Paper's Girlfriend."

I've got your back brother

She's got everything: floppy boots, kneepads, a flying cat, a unicorn tattoo, and she likes the music

Hmmm... I don't know. It's working fine for me. I just made that Hal Jordan GL about five minutes ago.

Well I can't see anybody else's creations due to the fact that most of the picture hosting sites are blocked here at work, so I'll just imagine that they are all things of beauty.

I decided to bring our Thor/Skrull/Clone - Skor to life.

This is a good time.

Created a new guy:
Joe Campbell, The Time P.I.

In 1944 , Joe Campbell P.I., was working a case for the local museum. While staking out the museum's loading dock, he sees a group of hoodlums sneaking out the backdoor carrying some sacks full of loot. Joe confronts and of course disarms the young thugs. As he waits for the police to arrive, he takes a look at some of the things the theives attempted to take.
He finds a golden armband with strange lettering written all over the face of it. His curiousity gets the best of him, and Joe slides it on.
In a flash of Kirby-Esque blues and greens, he's transported to another place and time. Joe slowly realizes that he's now lost in time and must complete certain tasks to help people and move on to his next pitstop through the time stream.
He's accompanied by a talking chimp named, Carl.
The series will be an old school camp fest, with the tagline being..

Trapped in time, Joe finds himself jumping to different times and places, putting things right that once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next jump will be the Jump home.

What sort of powers and abilities dose a "hermaphrohawk" posses? Just curious.

paper
06-20-2007, 06:38 PM
Were you gone for Hermaphrohawk?

Hermaphrohawk...which I'll now do as a full character....can simply change genders at will. At least as far as we can tell. It may be an act. Sort of like Bugs Bunny.

fred

and for the record, it has magical sex-changing abilities. It can get me free drinks in any bar.

Plus I'm going with a sort of flamboyant theme today.

That is a hermaphro-mini-hawk, sir. (S)he goes by "Chris."

Yeah, it came about when Fred was trying to explain that the Hawkman book was replaced by the Hawkgirl book, just out of thin air one day. (S)he has since become our forum's resident hero.

I can't remember the exact genesis. I may have said Hermaphrohawk first. I can't recall. It might've been darron. I do remember that it came out of my confusion about the Hawk(wo-girl)man books. I think that Steve was explaining it. It sounds like something that Steve would know.(I mean that in a good way)

i haven't used this foreveeeeeeer. that was hero machine one though i think.

this is going to be entertaining when i'm bored. nothing like hermaphrohawk, but it might make an okay concept for a reeeeeeal hero/villain.

It's not intentional, I was trying to find something that would drape kind of like a norse god shirt - that was the closest I saw.

I figured as much. I made the Skor guy a few pages back and I spent so much time trying to find a Thor-like shirt. That's actually the reason why I even noticed it!
