DragonCon is a huge (just surpassed SDcomicon I hear) scifi/popular culture convention in Atlanta. I know all three of the guys would have a blast if they came down. There is even an offical podcasting/vidcasting track.
Check out the con at the website http://www.dragoncon.org
The con takes up the three largest hotels in downtoan Atlanta for 4 days of drunken geekdom. Over 35,000 people attend (its probably more, but due to fire regualtions they won't report over that).
The TRS crew should come down, and for that matter all the TRS fans would love it as well.

P.S. sorry for the luke warm review of the first episode on itunes, as you can tell, you've won me over and TRS is one of my fav vidcasts now.

Close but no cigar, I'm an actual fan of TRS and would love to have them come down to DragonCon. I'm in no way affliated with DragonCon. Just think its a good time.
As far as the Signature goes, your probably right. I'll lose it as its a bit promoty (is that a word?)

WesThey couldn't handle British beer ... they have a hard enough time with the US variety :p
It will be a round of shandy's and ciders if they hit the UK I think.

Ummmmm Dark beers. If you ever get a chance try a Highland Oatmeal Porter. You can slice it with a knife.

I prefer a nice golden beer myself, something a little fruity and flowery.

I'll take a Caffrey's instead - nice foamy head like a Guiness, in a "light" bitter style. Its a win/win for beers as far as I am concerned (if you can ever find the damn stuff in the US

Porter should not have that much body. Porter should be dark but not have an overwhelming body. The oatmeal would tend to make it very sweet and creamy though. That would give it a fair amount of mouth-feel.
These darker porters and stouts from the British Isles were popular during the nineteenth century to cover flaws in the beers. Roasted and black malts would help mask strange flavors and haze. Oatmeal stout is still the first full grain beer that a novice brewer should make.
As brewing in British Isle evolved from the cottage to industry, brewing techniques improved so you didn't need to hide your crappy beer anymore. Therefore, we have these brilliant and delicious pale ales.
One major benefit of modern life is that the beer we enjoy is much better than beer in historical times.

One more week until I am sampling Pilsner from Pilsn, and drink brews at the Strahov Monastery. Life is good.
