On episode 9 you guys talked about the new movie with Al and Robert.

I heard a rumor that they do not like each other and if you pay attention carefully to the movie Heat the men are never in the same camera shot together. Anyone want to confirm or deny?

Discuss. :)

Yes he spelled it wrong im sure you all knew what he meant anyway. They cant hate each other to much since they are doing another movie together.

i don't like to assume things.

here is my question to you. why do you give a ****? who ****ing cares? why with all the shit happening in the world would you want to gossip about two actors personal lives?

if you can't find better things to do just ask, i'm sure i can come up with something that doesn't involve star****ing.

Whoa. Why did you get all upset?

If he wants to talk about De Niro and Pacino, let him. If you don't, ignore this thread. We're just having a laugh, so leave your asterisks else where sir.

no i am just not going to "let him". this type of behavior, this gossiping and want to not only know but discussing every little facet of peoples lives is awful. it's a prevert type of hero worship. you claim to be "just having a laugh" i fell to see what is humorous about stalking actors.

now before you even think it, i'm not saying that every thing you think and discuss has to be high minded or even serious. for example i have been in a 4 year arguement at to whether hans gruber can be classified as a terrorist. i just saying we should have some respect for people's privacy. some things should be off limit to public discussion. think about that ol' golden rule, how would you like it if every thing you did was gossiped about by strangers online?

No, I'm standing by my guns.

Firstly, I agree that there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. But let me be the first [and I hope not the only] person to say that this thread didn't cross that line. He's talking about a movie mentioned on TRS in the TRS forum for crying out loud. How more on point does the guy have to be?

Secondly, the only person to use the words "gossip" and "stalk" was you. We were all having a laugh, and mindlessly chattering about a flick and it's stars. I don't think anyone was taking the thread seriously, but we weren't being rude about it.

I don't know if you are having a bad day or what, but simmer down a bit sir. The guy who started this thread has only one post. Do you think he's going to want to post again after this? So let's all walk away, have a drink or two, and come back as brothers.

He's talking about a movie mentioned on TRS in the TRS forum for crying out loud. How more on point does the guy have to be? he wasn't talking about a movie. he was talking about these two guys personal lives and using a movie, that yes had been discussed on TRS, as an example.

Secondly, the only person to use the words "gossip" and "stalk" was you. We were all having a laugh, and mindlessly chattering about a flick and it's stars. I don't think anyone was taking the thread seriously, but we weren't being rude about it.
yeah i used gossip, cause that's what it is. gossips(using the noun there) don't tend to want to admit to what they really are doing. you can see a defintion of the word here (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?db=dictionary&q=gossip).

if all he wants to do is gossip then i hope he doesn't come back. gossips get the community talking about the wrong things, like which actors doesn't like the other, and the important things fall to the side like how bad Wonderman (http://www.fortunecity.com/athena/power/955/)'s outfit is.

oh i want to tell you, i checked out your tumblr. very cool.

i'm not that bad, from what i can tell only one person has me on ignore and that is good ol' rush. just means that now i always get the last word with him. i will admit i don't get very excited about alot of things but that's just the way i have always been, but i am not as negative as some people perceive me to be. i actually have alot more postive post than negative, just people seem to remember the negative ones more. i should have my own call in show.

I'm still holding firm in my belief that this wasn't gossip. So I guess we are both equally stubborn. So from now on let's just talk about stuff we can agree on, like how Studio 60 is a great show and how Paris Hilton is in fact hot. [Both of those things, I actually do believe. How does my mom still love me?]

i guess you could hold that belief if you disregard every dictionary on the planet. anyway, i never saw studio 60 and i couldn't pick paris hilton out of a crowd of nixon look a likes.

The discussion might be gossipy, but it's still relevant. He was talking about two actors and whether they will work together or not. That puts it fairly in the topic of movies which is something that this podcast and forum covers. That makes it relevant. How hard is that to follow?

It's not like he's gossiping about who's dating whom.

Anyways, Studio 60 is indeed a great show.

it's either gossip or not.

and he isn't talking about whether they will work together or not. that is an assumption that you are making and is not based off what he said. even then i would say that it is still off limits. just because the people whom he is talking about make movies doesn't mean their personel lives should be discussed. it's not relevant.

I wouldn't doubt a few people having ya on ignore besides him. Your being negative is what gets the most attention. People tend to respond to negativity for some reason and usually ignore positive.....hmmm better not say anything else don't wanna start a flame war by insulting people in many different ways. :D
