Anybody else see Mr. Brooks? I could not see Costner playing a murderer but the movie was awesome. And Dane Cook was great in a serious role.

I saw it and I thought it was really good. I gotta say, flops or not, Kevin Kostner is one hell of a good actor. This was Dances With Wolves good. Field of Dreams good...

I really liked it.

Not to be confused with "Postman" bad or "Waterworld" bad.

I liked the first hour or so...the plot kind of fell apart in the middle of the second act.

SPOILERS
The inclusion of the "hangman serial killer" was just unnecessary and I never bought Dane Cook's character's motivations.

Postman was pretty good. Waterworld wasn't too bad, at least the set was awesome. jeane Tripplehorn and Dennis Hopper are kinda what made it bad for me, they were hammy and comic-booky.

I liked Costner in 3000 Miles To Graceland, outright psycho, with some sweet cinematography.
