We all have movies we don't mind watching over and over again but which one stands out as the one you're most embarrased by?

Mine would be Flash Gordon. When I was in school, I watched it 13 times in a row! I sure knew how to waste time back then.

THere are some that no matter how many times you see them, you don't get sick of them.

My personal favourite is The Shawshank Redemption, closely followed by Last of the Mohicans. Not sure how many times I've watched them, but they are the ones we reach for when there is nothing else on TV.

October Sky...but most of my frequent watchings of it came from my school.....it seemed like every class i was in found a way to tie that movie into the curriculum somehow...that being said, I'll still watch the movie on my own if I see it on tv or something.

My brother was in band class and they were extras in the movie but the scene they were in got cut.

I can't help but watch The Phantom Menace every time its on. I don't care if JAR JAR BINKS is the worst, I just don't.

Qui Gon Jinn is such a cool character that I will put up with that sci-fi equivalent of black face for as long as I have to. I just wish Lucas does the right thing and makes some sort of television show featuring Qui Gon.

Just in case you didn't notice I just did compare the Gungans as a society to the most racist entertainment genre ever know to human civilization.

Jar Jar Binks wasn't the worst. Darth Vader as a kid was the worst. Lucas succeeded in ruining the coolest bad guy in the world in that movie.

I was like "Okay, so this stupid little kid is going to grow up and become Darth Vader? No f'ing way."

Not a movie, but a high school feat of strength:

I stayed home from school in the 9th grade and watched 18 hours of a 24 hour Matlock marathon [and for some reason I remember that it was on TNT].

Except for the Matlock thing, you guys are ignoring the original question, about an embarrassing movie (or show)

Mine would be Pee Wee's Big Adventure... even though it is a fun flick, I'm embarrassed that I always always watch it when I come across it. No matter what else I should/could be doing.

Tron.

Ever since 2nd grade, I have to watch Tron twice in a row if I watch it.

Don't know why, but it's a must.

Ha, no?

I still have strong desires to make a "FLYNN'S" shirt when I get my screen printing kit going...

But I do have to say, when Big Lewbowski came out, I saw Jeff Bridges and was like "Hey, it's the guy from Tron!!" No one knew WTF I was talking about... le sigh

Firstly, I wear my Matlock-marathoning like a badge of honor.

Secondly, I will always make time to watch Newsies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsies) and have seen the flick, well, let's just say "a lot".

Oh, one of the most embarrassing flicks i ever saw, an will watch over and over again is the horrendous "white worm"

avenwhell

The Lair of the White Worm? I kinda remember that. Wasn't there a beautiful woman in it that turned into a snake? Sexy and evil! Kinda like the nude woman in the movie Lifeforce.

I am not really embarrassed by any of the movies I really like, however there are many that I love that everyone else hates.

Movies that I always watch:

Big Trouble (one of my favorite movies, and i'm not sure why, just love it)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Love the first one, really like the second, not so big on the third.)

Rush Hour (Love Jackie Chan and love the combo of him and Chris Tucker)

Futurama Series (I have watched the entire series at least 20 times)

Alien Apocalypse (Love this cheesy Bruce Campbell movie)

Spaceballs

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Here comes Randall. He's a berserker. And yes, I do the Randall (or Wrangle, depending on how you want to hear it) into work every morning.

I've seen the movie "Hackers" 50+ times throughout my life... that should fit the embarrassing quota fairly quickly in this thread.

As long as you don't tell anyone Sky High for some reason I never grow tired of it. I literally had to rerip my copy twice cause I played it so much. Then one day I just bought it...I have no idea why I like it so much but I will fight you to the death if you call it a lame rip of something.

Weird Science & Real Genius seemed like they were on repeat on the movie channels when I was younger. I don't even think I could count how many times I watched them.

Rudy is another one. I can't help myself, when it's on T.V. I must watch it.

In 1996 - 2000 I made alot of money and was doing nothing all day every day but watching videos. The guys at the the vid store were like ' u should just work here', and seeing as I had other income I thought it would be fun so I did it.

I earnt minimum wage for 6 months at Tower video on Sunset blvd in los angeles and ALOT of celebs bought movies there. He bought Real Genius saying his kids had just found out about it so he had too, I said " waht about Top Secret?" and he said "shhhh they're not ready for that yet".

It was a fun job but wouldn't be realistic unless I had been earning other money in the meantime, even though they made me supervisor in 3 weeks (50 cents extra). I met a hell of a lot of cool ppl though.

Nice. I definitely live in the wrong area I bump into sports stars when I'm out and I have no idea who they are (my cousin flips out on me) but you run into people I wouldn't mind chatting with for a few.

Dune for me, when I was a kid and we first got cable, I flicked on the movie channel and they were playing Dune, it really messed me up. So I've seen it 10 or 12 times.

Im not much of a repeat viewer of anything, I find it almost impossible to watch anything I've seen before.
