Well I would think they will be adding the redirects soon, since right now they might be fixing any little and huge bugs in both the website and forum..give them time.

In the time we will be waiting, want a beer?

That's all Revision3 is good at.. making people wait, often for years. http://systm.org has been broken for years and was never fixed. Not that it matters, since Systm is dead as a doorknob anyways. Why not just announce the show is dead so people stop asking?

Kevin said on thebroken that they "weren't going to do another thebroken" after #3, but only did because people harassed them for it. Did any of us fans hear about this? We were told a new thebroken was coming.. for years we were told this, when apparently they had no intention of ever releasing it until they "gave in" to the fans.

Why don't they just announce they don't intend to do more shows instead of making people wait, and wait and wait and wait and wait and cross their fingers.

People keep making excuse after excuse after excuse for these guys. I'm sorry, but Kevin and co. have abysmal work ethic, are masters of broken promises and frankly spend too much time drunk. It's no wonder the only show that's out on a schedule is diggnation (the easiest show to produce and a convenient excuse to get drunk). You left G4 to produce your own content, Kevin; what happened? I guess it's much easier to goof off instead of working a regular 8 hour day.

Yea, because launching one of the most popular websites ON THE WEB, is goofing off. Because hosting one of the most popular videocasts with 250,000 downloads a week is goofing off.

I wanna goof off just like him!!!

Yes, digg.com launched some time ago. Hurray for digg. How often is Kevin at the offices adding new code to digg? AFAICR, he said on his podcast that his job is to come up with "new ideas" for digg, but some other people code. Sounds like a 9-5 job for sure. I wonder where he finds any time.

>>Because hosting one of the most popular videocasts with 250,000 downloads a week is goofing off.

You're referring to Diggnation, the show (with one static shot) where two 30 year olds who used to be on TV drink beer, tell personal stories and discuss articles they saw on digg.com once a week? Yeah, hard labor involved there. The only reason we see it once a week is because it's just that easy to produce. Your sarcasm reveals the truth.

P.S. www.systm.org still doesn't redirect.

P.P.S. Kevin Rose is still lazy.

P.P.P.S. Broken promises suck and always will.

P.P.P.S. Have you heard of Hak.5? Those guys put out an hour long, professional-looking show once a month (5th of every month) packed with content; all with regular day jobs. Now that's a love for your creation and your fans.

since Systm is dead as a doorknob anyways.

I wasn't going to reply to this thread, but I decided I had to...

I wish people wouldn't say things like this. Unless you know Kevin Rose (I am assuming optimus does not), it is naive to say such things, and it usually makes the poster look like an arrogant ass.

I would like to cite one example. My uncle owns a dental implant company. When his product his the market, it was met with great success and exitement. However, five years passed without an update to the impant. He kept telling people that they were working diligantly, and it would be out when it was ready. I am sure people claimed his company was "dead as a doorknob." Turns out my uncle released an updated implant and it now a multimillionaire.

I understand that people are upset that SYSTM does not come out regularly. This bothers me too.

This doesn't bother me as much as the broken promises however. If KRose and Co. where to say, "Hey guys, when it comes out, it comes out. Deal with it.," I would be absolutely accepting.

I DO NOT want this thread to turn into a flaming match, that just wastes everyones time. I just wish people would take some time and think before they type. Misconstruing ones thoughts and facts is generally a bad idea.

Still not fixed.

Uh huh huh huh. Must be so busy, yup.

Later Rev3, you guys are nothing but hype and disappointment. Glad I never donated.

P.S. It seems Leo is having a similar problem with the TWiTs. He's pissed off tonight, going off on how he pays these guys $500 PER SHOW (that's over $20k/year) and he still can't get them to show up for an hour of blabbering on Skype from wherever they are. You can see his comments on the TWiT message boards.

"I just can't make these guys show up. I'm paying them $500 an episode (and I haven't taken a penny in months, by the way) and they STILL treat it as something they can blow off if it's a nice day. Frankly I am at my wits end.

Believe me, killing TWiT is the last thing I want to do. I've worked my ass off for free for over a year to try to build this into something viable. It kills me that these clowns take it so lightly." - Leo Laporte. Go Leo!

Anyways, maybe if Kevin and co. tried laying off the constant self medicating (booze n' drugs) and put just a little bit more effort into their "jobs", their fans could have more than a drunken yakfest to look forward to. But whatever, if you don't want to produce anything other than Diggnation, then officially kill Systm and say so.

Alright, bye.. thanks for all the fish.

I don't mind certain shows not having a consistent release schedule, I just wish that more info was given. Tell us what days/how often each show is released. a Systm once a month or once every two months would be awesome but just sitting around and waiting for one to pop up is annoying.
