I feel like i find things online quicker then they do on G4. Wish there was tv like that old school Tech Tv. Im not feeling ATOS anymore. Is diggnation ever going public on a network?

If diggnation goes on a public network, it would have to be watered down.

I'm half-way toward wanting all these G4/TechTV retreaded threads to be banned entirely. You'd think nothing interesting has happened in the last three years.

Even I gave you enough credit that you'd be smart enough NOT to click the thread after you read the name, but alas.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with this thread. Yes, you can search but this isn't doing any harm, just stay out of it and keep the negativity elsewhere, please.
Thank You.

Someone should do this with an episode of Diggnation. The Reno one would make a good one.

Why doesn't anyone ever talk about ZDTV? Anyone remember Kate Botello era TSS?

She does Broadway now, or at least she did, not sure what she's up to currently.

I never really seen TechTV on TV. I only started watching G4TechTV around 3 years ago. But I watch Youtube clips and episodes all the time of the old TechTV, and I wish they had that now a days. Leo is getting kinda old, but The Lab is still better than nothing.
And yes there are several of these threads, but I don't mind them. As long as we don't end up like the evil bastards that dwell in the G4 forums.

Which reminds me of another thing I miss about tech tv-g4/tech tv. The forums. They kicked so much ass...
I watched the last year of tech tv and stopped watching g4 a couple of months after kevin rose left (aots was actually a pretty good show for awhile). I still really miss the feeling of community that tech t.v. use to have. I mean we still have rev3, dltv, the twit network, but they're not as fun as tech tv shows were. oh well, I guess we should be happy with what we have...

I think it goes: ZDTV > TechTV > Tooth Extraction > G4.

I definitely miss TechTV, but I doubt it'll ever come back in the form that it used to be in. Most of the hosts of TechTV (and the current lineup of alumni shows) pride themselves in being progressive with their work. TV might get them more mainstream attention, but the kind of audience they aim at is the kind of audience that could find and download them from the internet, so it doesn't seem like there's really a point in going back primarily to TV.
Really, tho, when I think of the shows I regularly download (Diggnation, Infected, TRS and the rest of the Revision3 shows, though not as dogmatically, and DL.TV and TWiT shows), I just think of my downloads folder (which is named "TechTV") as an on-demand TechTV. As long as the content of all these shows stays good and the production quality stays good and they're free or low-cost, I like the way things are right now. I think people focus too much on the past (TechTV) and not realize that there's still a lot of great media for tech fans, just in a newer format.

I think it goes: ZDTV > TechTV > Tooth Extraction > being set on fire > being raped by a donkey > being buried alive > being punched in the nuts with a spiked glove all day > hell > G4.
I think that is more accurate.

ZDTV > TechTV > Tooth Extraction > being set on fire > being raped by a donkey > being buried alive > being punched in the nuts with a spiked glove all day > hell > G4.I concur.
Quoted for truth.
