Is Diggnation being released later than usual? [Archive]

Maybe it's just me, but does it seem like Diggnation is being released later than usual since the new site went up? Throughout the entire summer until the new site went up, it seemed like Diggnation was guaranteed on Sunday, but now you have to be a paying member just to get it that early! Does anyone else notice this?

I'm not sure what you're takling about. Diggnation has always been released Saturday nights at 10 PM EST/7 PM PST. A couple weeks ago, it was delayed because of technical problems. Last week it was delayed 3 or 4 hours, but then was released to everyone for free late Saturday night. This week it was released right on schedule for paying members, last night. To get it on Saturday you have to be a paying member and always have been(for the most part). Otherwise, it's always been released for free on Tuesdays.

It's business. They need funds to run. If you want it on Sunday, become a paying member.

Yeah, I know. I wasn't a paying member and I always got to watch Diggnation either late night Saturday or Sunday at the earliest. I never paid and I got to watch it. It's now Sunday at 6:53 PM and it's still restricted to paying members only.

I noticed it was taking unusually long for the new episode to download/update in Itunes. I think they are just releasing it later now if you arent a paying member. :mad:

It's for paying members only until Tuesdays. I'm not sure how you got it earlier, unless you used a site that mirrored the links or through torrents, but on the site you aren't supposed to be able to get them until Tuesday. So no, they aren't coming out any later. And you should just be happy that you've apparently been getting it so early for free, because you shouldn't be getting it(directly from Rev3) until Tuesday.

Ohhhhh yeah, I forgot. I would use google video, and they would always have the latest episode of Diggnation. Usually by late Saturday or Sunday. It doesn't seem like it anymore though.
