The first episode I saw was the "mini" episode with the cheese pie. I enjoyed it alot and thought to myself I have a new video podcast to be hooked on. Then I saw another regular episode and saw the lab jokes and it killed the show for me. Please get rid of the lab jokes, they suck. You should base your show on the Cheese Pie episode. :(

What? The lab scenes rock! I was actually dissapointed to not see them in the mini episodes. I guess that's just two different opinions.
However, please keep them, the show is just fine the way it is, actually it rocks the way it is! Keep it up Alex and Heather!!!

I view all the Revision3 programs as show a bunch of friends put together. They're not great, they're for us. So, honestly I don't think Alex is the funniest guy in the world(unless drunk, or close to it, then Even Jim Carrey and Robin Williams lose, WOOT!) but the 'Lab scenes' are amusing for their sheer stupidity,... and I am stupid (So there's that then, if you were wondering).
I dunno, I think the lab scene is pretty funny.
I concur, especially during the last episode. But who knows what's going to happen in season 3.

I agree, the lab scenes are pretty funny. Thy're part of what makes each episode great, in my opinion.

season 3.
I think that is what kills the show, if anything.

DR.vonlkjsahfgkhi9u5htn53uoignbifuzsbvewogjv97ehbn goauhsfdigjksdfhkjzfdher is amusing, the lab gives the show a more goofy edge witch it is because they cant exactly cook but heather and Alex try
* idea, what if heather and Alex made a dinner where they need3d help and had the lab make something and sent it up, to see the doc cooking with beakers and other lab stuff maybe. there has to be mistakes hahaha that would be awsome!
explosions if possible !!!!!

Yup, you have to keep the lab segments. I think Alex is one of the funniest guys I've seen and this is a great place for him to do that.

I agree. The funniest parts of them are how the dialog is delivered and all the quirky things happening in the background. I really like the lab scenes and think they help break up the rest of the show.

I think the lab scenes are great.... cooking can be incredibly boring in and of itself. It's good to have a comedic break, as well I like the information given about the dish at hand. I DO think they should add a quick est run down of the recipe before they start making it (Like Tiki does!).

I actually think the word you were thinking of there isn't goofy... but dorky. and in a bad way... the lab scenes leave me with a sense of agitation. I don't feel that they are funny... they are more lame than anything. If they would make funny jokes or something, then it might be ok. I just feel that how it has been, they just seem retarded and pointless. I think they waste more time than anything...

I like the lab scenes. Those segments are what make this cooking show different and entertaining from others. If I want to watch a serious cooking show there are plenty out there on the Food Network, etc....
Keep up the great work Alex and Heather. Your shows are tasty and humorous. Don't change a thing.

Speaking of Food Network shows, I saw the 'sushi' episode of Good Eats the other night. And they actually had a longer and more complicated lab scene than CAC. It was entertaining, but as with the CAC lab scenes it started to get old after a bit.
(P.S. apologies for reviving this old topic)

the lab scene is kind of stupid, but after watching enough of them, it gets a little funny. But the cool thing is you can skip the lab parts so you only watch the parts you like.

I think the lab scenes started really bad and have gotten tolerable. I like how they break up the show, but their not the best.

At first, I didn't care much for the lab scenes, but they really grew on me. I think they are hilarious now. The bizarre explanations for the origins of some of the dishes really get me laughing.
Everytime I see "Alex & Heather" written somewhere it always comes out as "Alex and Hezza" in my head as I read it. Don't know why........

Yeah, those who don't like them are in the small minority.
I love them, absolutely hilarious. Accent is brilliant, has me cracking up at the retardedness. Alex does the ill-qualified-nervous-hot-assistant-will-realize-he-is-a-quack-scientist thing really well! Brilliant.

As a fan of a certain science-oriented cooking show that airs on Food Network (Good Eats), I like the lab scenes. And it's hilarious how Dr. Changeshisnameeveryepisode (Alex) gets everything wrong, while his lab assistant (Heather) has to set him straight.

I liked the over saturated, tikibartv look of the first episode's lab scene... the detracting quality of the video is what I don't like about the lab scenes... I would like them to be a little more well written on Albrecht's part, even though the improv is pretty funny... I think he has better stuff in him... I do love the picture montage that gets thrown up on the screen though... so if he talks to match what they had planned for the video... that would make more sense
overall good break in the action... wish that this was expanded on somewhat though maybe other recurring characters... maybe a goofy heather and solemn alex or something... i dunno... just keep pushing outside the comfort zones and the box... as long as the cooking stays relatively central with the idea that you have no experience... but can follow a recipe and thus meaning... we too, the viewer, can cook with little or no experience
