As the title says I am building a new computer for emulation, mainly for any popular system before the PS2.I have a Playstation NES SNES TG-16.Genesis/cd/32x,Dreamcast,well all of them 8bit+.But i hate the clutter of so many systems,so I wish to combine all of them in one gaming rig. Most Likely I'd use it for movies also since itd be connected to my tv and home theater.
What i am after is a system thats quiet(probably fanless,or needing minimal cooling)less than 300 bucks not including ram(since i have craploads of sdram and some old ddr im not currently using) and preferably a decent onboard videochipset or a pcie or agp slot if onboard doesnt quite cut it.anyone have suggestions?I prefer smallish, with atleast the space to stick a hard drive.
Thought about one of those Mac minis for being so small, but I have near no experience with Macs, dont want Linux emulation( i coded a minimal gui to use as shell with near no startups for a bit of a boost on my last emu machine)
