With the recent additions of Jim Louderback and Sarah Lane, Revision 3's future just became a whole lot brighter. Congrats to Kevin, Prager, Dan, and Jay for all your hard work. May Revision 3 no longer be a project, but rather a real source of media for the masses.

I want to know what is happening with Jay as well. I imagine he's been a major factor in Rev3's success.

Also, it's great to hear that Sara Lane is joining the team. This must mean that her and Kevin are on good terms and that is great (I always wondered). Anyone have a link that can elaborate on what her participation will be?

If Rev3 knows who watches (I'm guessing ex-techtv fans), we would love to have Sarah back in front of the camera. She was great on TechTV.

Quiet exciting! - Jay has done well with Digg and Revision3, however with a both companies growing at such a rapid rate.. it would be awfully hard to manage both of them effectively. Seems like Jim is a good pick to do this, with his past expierence with ZDNet/TechTV and Ziff Davis (in general) for that matter. (Yes I'm aware ZD in ZDNet == Ziff Davis *cough*).

Also, I wasn't aware Sarah is on board, pretty nifty, whether she plays a behind the scenes role or not. Its good to see a strong team of people together.

@trvr, I heard something about Jay focusing on Digg itself a while back (I think I saw it on Digg actually). Hopefully we'll get some more news on it tomorrow sometime. I assume since Kevin dugg the story we can assume its true. :p

Ya. I should have went more into detail. I wasn't saying we loved her on G4, but that we loved her on TechTV. I think AOTS was a bad situation for her, but seeing her (just for a few minutes) on the holiday episode of InDigital was reassuring, to me atleast, that she can still do great.

Wow I don't really know who Jim is or what he's done. But theres alot of buzz and with Sarah Lane and all the others Rev3 is looking like a very bright future. Now I need to make some kinda show and beg Kevin/Jay/Whoever to become part Rev3.. Maybe a Weekly Show on How 2B Popular.

Like i cant imagine him coming on here and posting in a thread that he is sorry for something going wrong and being human. He might be a little TOO CEO material, you know what i mean?


Well like i said, im on the fence, jim has always done well with everything he has done, but just seemed recently he might be getting a little big for his britches. Mind you this is all coming from the last time i saw him on cranky geeks and everyone on there acts like that, its required for the show. Being in the rev3 world might be different. Time will tell.

I think either way this is a big deal. I cant really imagine kevin and jay and everyone else letting things get out of hand. So on the fence with perked ears.

No, we're not in active search for a CEO...Regardless, I'm Chairman as well, so he/she would would work for me anyway. ;)

I think it is inevitable, though. Both companies deserve a full-time CEO.

Yea the more i think about it the less im worried. You just see so many companies have a new CEO and then go to shit, i think it was more just a knee jerk reaction.

Seeing Louderback jump ships is pretty exciting. I just hope Patrick does the same. The Norton Louderback team works pretty good in my opinion.
