Bar Basic in San Diego, CA

YEA! I love Basic. It's right across the ball park in the East Village.
It is my favorite bar in San Diego right now.

Last year's comic-con Basic was pretty busy though, hopefully won't be too crowded.

The place has GREAT pizza also.

I like that minors can get in. If I can make it to the Con, it's nice I could get into the meetup. Poor youngin's at the LA diggnation meetup.

The L.A. diggnation location sucked. Blah Cinespace, it's nothing special. The best place in the whole building to be able to hear K&A was the back bar. The room was an ok size, but it had like 8 giant chairs covering the majority of the floor with 2 aisles down each side. Everyone was crammed into those two aisles. It was weird. 80% of the floor space was covered by gigantic seating that sat about 2% of the ppl that showed up. But yeh, I did feel sorry for all those kids at the front door, it should have been clarified that it was a licensed venue. It should also have been clarified that the place only served 3 shtty beers !
