Merlin Mann would add a lot credibility to the Revision3 Line-up. He has a lot of fresh ideas that go on his site 43folders (which he already has a audience), but a lot of the best can be heard on MacBreak and the occasional TWIT. While I enjoy his current show "the Merlin Show," it could use a network like Rev3 to take it to the next level. It could definitely becoming a sophisticated geek talk show plus lots of cool possible segments given the proper resources.
On the Merlin Show site http://www.themerlinshow.com/ it shows in production with Pixel Corps, but the copyright is listed as Merlin Mann. I have no idea how the interworkings of such a deal can be done, but that's how I would invest.

I was a fan of 43 Folders - all the episodes are still loaded on my iPod - but The Merlin Show did/does nothing for me. I think it was the cofusion at the being with his "HOWTO" shows - was he a tutorial show or an interview show? Tech or music? Forget about 80% of the audience this is Mac all the way baby. Not a big deal - but it was a confused message.

I was a fan of the 43 folders podcast as well, but there wasn't very many of those. I like the idea of the show with less of the mac stuff, but seems like it's a lower priority now talking to various music people that are kind of interesting, but not great. I see a lot of unexploited potential that could find a large niche that the Rev3 guys havn't really gotten to yet.

Taking his talk/interview show concept to interview tech leaders might work, but would be an expensive production to pull off because of the travel involved. Not everyone lives in the bay area :)
