Best picture ever?

Best picture this summer?

In the last two weeks?

How about recent pictures that I just like?

RE:Lighthouse Pic.

That was the one that got my vote in your poll :)

Natural. I did correct the color though. The post dawn light was a little redder than my camera white balance thought it was. I used bracketing to get the exposure right. The colors are still a bit dull because of the back lighting.

This picture was the runner-up. The direct sunlight makes it brighter but the composure is much less dramatic.

This was third place. It is the most abstract composure. I tampered with the lighting in PS to completely darken the shadows. The back-lite flag is almost luminescent.

It goes to show how differently you can get images from the same time and place.

Is that real? That's wicked! I can just barely see the GW bridge. My office must be just out of frame to the left.

This pictures was a disaster out of the can. I took it Kodak 400 tri-X pan film which cannot really handle underexposures. However, it was totally fixed by photoshop. (not to mention, the random shadow and distracting woman in the background that is gone forever)

Insect macro photography is my favorite sort. My current camera doesn't have a good macro lens, though. Oh, how it pains me.

I got over shots of it in my flicker account from a few different angles and distances.
