I love Digg, but am I the only one that finds the stuff they have over at Digg Labs to be sort of...pointless? Maybe it's just me, do you guys use any of the tools?

Nope, may be good for people working on stuff with the API I guess. I have no idea.

Yea, but do you personally use it? I'm just trying to get a show of hands here.

MODFIGHT!! place yer bets!

(and nope to the labs stuff. I was hoping they would be usefull, but are not. Most probably just a pretty way for them internally to see what's going on, and it came out so nice they wanted to share)

I think that its like that google thing. People that come up with great ideas like digg or a free alternative too office or a music player that has Internet and phone built into it just get a idea and run with it. Sometimes it doesn't go any where other times it becomes digg or google or whatever idea you think is rad.

But to answer your question I dont use it much. The reality is that its a head if its time. Think of that bubble system working on a touch interface like when tech like surface is mainstream. It would be pretty damn sweet then.... Or maybe I should say it will be. I know that's how I think and I'm sure is how kevin and the other creative minds behind rev3 think too.

Now what i really want is a tight iphone interface. Im diggin this little thing. :)

Are you referring to a version of Digg for the iPhone? If so...

Yea, but that one is a little too simplified. The iPhone is capable of so much more. I just view the site from the normal page right now. Maybe i need to get used i though now that im thinking about, ill give it another go, thnx for bringing it back into my view again phatlip. I mean i didnt like the google news reader at first and now except for this site, its how i check all my news and forums.
