If you buy now you get five free Blu-Ray movies. The 80gig PS3 will not have the PS2 chip so older games will not play back as well. The 60gig PS3 will have the PS2 chip and will play back 95% of all PS2 and PS1 games.

I just can't ever get into old games. I feel so spoiled by the updates, gfx, gameplay of the new boxes, I lose interest in the old favs very quickly.

I don't really care about being able to play old games...I have the consoles already...and I don't have an HDTV.

I'm waiting for games.

I concur. The Blu-Ray thing really doesn't interest me since I have an SDTV.

Plus they're discontinuing out their 60 gig models, so they won't be around at that price forever.

I think it does. So that leaves alex.



Has anyone mentioned that these guys could write the PS3 off in their taxes?

I think Dan bought the PS3 right after the filming of Episode 17: Tandiego. In Episode 17 Dan said he was thinking about it now that he's not working, and has the extra time off to video games now.
