I wanna buy a few games and was looking for advice.
I got paper mario last week so im set on the Wii. I want a DS game and a xbox game.
On the DS so far im torn between elite beat agents, electro plankton and that 3 on 3 basketball game with the nintendo characters. But any other suggestions would be cool.
On the Xbox there is so much i dont know where to start. I almost got oblivion last week, but my cards was lost and my checks address didnt match my DL so i just left with my $35 store credit for games turned in and opted to think about it.
I have hardly no games for any of these systems. I think i have 3 or 4 for the DS, 1 for the Wii plus wii sports and i think just guitar hero now for the xbox, now that i did a trade in on my old games. Im a bit of a short attention span gamer and definelty not a hardcore gamer since these are my first systems since the N64.
So there ya go. If anyone has a suggestion lay it down please. It would help a lot. :)

Out of the games you listed for the DS, Elite Beat Agents is probably the best. Another suggestion for the DS would be New Super Mario Bros or Yoshi's Island DS. They are both great platformers.

I'd probably go with elite beat agents also.
But then again I usually change my mind once I'm in the store.

Elektroplankton is cool, but gets old after a while. Its more of a tech demo than 'game'.
Oblivion is a great game. I just spent 20 mins at work talking to a fellow employee about how great of a game it is.

DS: Hotel Dusk, Elite Beat Agents, or Puzzle Quest
360: Oblivion (you'll get the most for your money for sure), Rainbow Six Vegas, or The Darkness

holy cow. I just got back from gamestop. I always wondered why people called it gestapo, as in run by gangsters. I was buying some games and these guys came in asking about a Wii. Well the guy say he won't have any for a few weeks but if he reserves 3 games he will call them when they come in. Just wow, I got mine at walmart with no requirement to buy anything. I just used the Wii tracker online and went down at midnite. Think I'm gonna boycott GS for that. Depends on if I have a alternative that's better. I think babbages us owned by GS, but I have a EB up the road too. The customer care was lame too, they wouldn't even give me a ten percent discount they emailed me, even after I showed it to them on my iPhone . I'm like " well do you have a printer here then?" and he tells me no. LOL , I'm looking at two machines with printers hooked up and he tells me no. There was more but I don't wanna waste more time on it.
So yea GS can kinda bite me at thus point.
*edit*
Oh i didnt see the new posts, darn good suggestions too. Well next paycheck i guess :)
I got Elite Beat Agents and Oblivion. I think puzzlequest is next, i heard a ton of good things about it. Up in the air for the Wii and xbox still though.
Thnx for the input guys. :)

EB and Gamestop are the same place (owned by the same company, but im not sure who owns who). Not sure about Babbages, since I havent seen one in years.

Babbage's and Software Etc. were both purchased by Gamestop. So it's all one big, happy family.

Gamestop owns all. They bought EB too and also Rhino Video Games, which was mostly a southeast chain as far as I know.
Yay monopolies.....
