Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, I figured people on these boards would have some good suggestions.
I'm going on a long trip so i'm looking to downlo... i mean buy some DVDs. I haven't gone to a movie in awhile so I don't know what to look for. Anyone have any suggestions? My friend told me to watch the Prestige, and I liked that.. dramas/mysteries/thrillers with twists are always good. Not too big of an action movie fan.
No matter what, if it's good, let me know. (although I would prefer ones that are already out in theaters, i'd rather watch it as dvd quality) I need a bunch, so I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Well, Comhcinc is still making friends I see....
as far as DVDs, check out metacritic and pick some good ones. It's super hard to reccomend movies to other people because of everyone's mixed tastes. However, I usually agree with the TRS guys, so, you know...watch the shows!

Why? There are a lot of good DVDs. However, why let someone else decide. Enroll in Netflix.

Agreed, half the movies if not more that I watch now are recommended to me by netflix.

I just got back from vacation and for the long trip I watched my copy of Shaun of the Dead, and listened to all the commentaries. I would suggest that or Super Troopers for the same reason (great commentary)

300 is coming out in about a week, and the 2 disc set sounds like a great buy. Batman Begins, Die Hard(1st), Casino Royale, Pirates of the Caribbean(1st), The Incredibles, and I could probably keep going. Contact me and I can probably e-mail a list of all the DVDs of movies and TV shows I own which is more then a forum post would hold or be too long to read.

Yeh I know, same with Club Dread and Dukes of Hazzard, but that guy on the right, as the little jewish uy in Beerfest, was a straight lateral side-step in character. Everyone else, not so much.
