Games: Bully/Canis Canem Edit (Wii)

In spite of all the critical acclaim, most people glossed right over Rockstar Games' Bully; it even received a coveted 10 in the pages of EGM. Rockstar isn't giving up on the new IP just yet, however, as they've announced Bully: Scholarship Edition for both Xbox 360 and Wii, complete with tweaked visuals and additional content.

Other than that, we're in the dark, but Rockstar says the revamped Bully is coming to both platforms this "winter." This could be the perfect game to cool down from the fall gaming season with in early 08 -- keep watching as we learn more -- but here's a question: where's the PlayStation 3 version?

I was annoyed the original XBOX version of Bully was canned, so it's nice to see this being ported to the Wii. Will fill the void until Manhunt 2 is rewritten.

Wii and 360 is an unusual combination to develop for. I will buy it if its at a bargain price since I didn't play it on PS2 originally but I think if this is full price they will have the same weak sales unless there are some big differences. Which by the sound of it isn't what Rockstar is doing.

I just got done playing The Warriors. That's related to this thread somehow. It was better than I expected that's for sure. It made me feel like I was playing a 20 hour version of the movie. I was STUNNED with how authentic and true to the movie it was.

I might give my vote for Bully as the best game Rockstar has made so far. Incredibly tight in all the right areas and great use of all the gameplay ideas they've learned from the GTA games.

My favorite game for the Wii right now is The Godfather: black hand edition. lets just say it Kicks ass, and it is basically just GTA with a new skin and better plot. Wasn't Bully was supposed to be the same , just a GTA rehash? If it is, it will rock on the Wii ! You get into the game much faster and much more deeply than with the wiimote and nunchuck! Just plane beating a guy to death is so much fun in that game! I look forward to Bully on the Wii

I have a mate who thinks Godfather is the bees knees too. I had a go and it didn't really grab me to be honest, but then I've never been a big fan of GTA style games.
