TRS dudes,
Last episode, while you guys were at the ice cream truck, the neighborhood looked awfully familiar. I live in Van Nuys, the semi-ghetto neighborhood behind the Sizzler, north-west corner of Balboa and Sherman Way. Anyway, just thought I'd give a shout from 3 avid 30-year-old gamers ourselves. Let's throw a Totally Rad Show BBQ in the Valley. We have a pool, all 3 gaming consoles and a big screen. Love the show. Peace. Rob

This episode made me sad that I've never seen an ice cream truck in person before.
What a magical vehicle.

That was the most decked-out ice cream truck I've ever seen. I wish we had ice cream trucks where I live, the desert.

Dude, holy hell. I pm'ed Jeff on the day of the episaode saying that looks like Bassett and Oak Park Ave behind the Del taco on the corner of Balboa and Van Owen. It's Basssett, but a different part inland. I'm in the hollywood hills but I have a friend that I visit there all the time. Barbecue in Van Nuys ? Hell no! It's like 90degreees here which mean it's 1000degrees in the valley. :)

hahaha
Over here they usually play Greensleeves or Fur Elise as they drive around like some sort of demented jewelry box.
Here though you usually only purchase the soft serve ice cream from them (Mr Whippy?) and you can get the ice creams dipped in chocolate or strawberry or white chocolate with a flake in the side and the trick is to try an eat the ice cream from the point where the dip meets the cone and leave the set dip shape in tack so as to fold into the cone once you eaten sufficient ice cream so that you can pack the cone full of ice cream then your topping.
Then it is true joy to finish :D

It is an art form perfected in childhood and lost is the days of adulthood

Damm now I want an Ice cream

I'm sad nobody bought a Screwball. Do they even still make those? They must, it's a ice cream man classic. You guys know what I'm talking about. A screwball comes in a little cone shaped plastic cup. It has a crappy frozen gumball at the bottom, usually red or blue, and the rest is filled with like strawberry sorbet. Well the sugary, fake tasting version of sorbet. It comes with one of those little wooden spoons.

Classic. I want one right now.
