I'll have to look into Kucinich some more. After taking the first "pick your candidate" test my highest results were:
Kucinich
Gravel
Paul
Obama

The whole idea that you should vote for a lesser of two evils, even if it means that you don't vote for the guy that you have the same ideals as because they don't really have a chance at winning.

Have you ever heard of "wasting a vote away"? Ideally, your right...but you also have to look at who actually has a chance at winning.

Someone who voted for the Iraq war shouldn't be president.Ha, well, I guess that gets rid of pretty much every democratic candidate.
He's a hardcore liberal. Therefore, no, I won't vote for him.
Sen. Fred Thompson looks like the best to me.

Please read this article, it sums it up pretty nicely. http://inserttitleblog.com/?p=65
To quote a person I look up to, "The only way to waste your vote is to vote" -Penn Jillette... Or draging it out a little bit, The only way to waste your vote is to vote for someone because his opponent is worse.
Nothing bring more tears to my eyes than when somebody tells me "It doesn't matter who you vote for, just vote!" ... No, no, you couldn't be more wrong :(
JILLETTE: Well, the elections, the only way to waste your vote is to vote. I think that picking the lesser of two evils in game theory just always leads to more and more evil, so I follow the Jerome Horwitz theory of politics. Jerome Horwitz was also known as Curly Howard, one of the Three Stooges.
BECK: Right.
JILLETTE: His brother would hold up his hand and say, "Pick two," and then poke him in the eyes with it. And the thing Curly Howard never realized was, "What if you say I won`t pick two, I don`t want to be poked in the eyes?" There`s no reason we should be voting for the lesser of two evils. You should save your vote until it`s someone you actually think is good.
The big mistake the Democrats made was they didn`t run for Kerry. All they ran was anti-Bush. And that just feels dirty to vote out of hate instead of out of love.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0611/02/gb.01.html ... the whole interview, scroll about halfway down, or search for jillette

I...kinda agree with him (Mike Gravels statement on the Patriot Act that is).
Almost all of Thompson's stance on issues are unknown on the chart posted earlier....

http://www.2decide.com/table.htmWeird. I have never seen that chart before. I use this one:
http://www.ontheissues.org/Senate/Fred_Thompson.htm
Seems to be laid out a 100 times better than that other one. You can look up the other candidates there as well. I just linked to the guy I was talking about.
*edit*
Here's the direct link to the 2008 race:

The names are in blue at the top ribbon thingy.... You'll see what I mean when you go there.

Jack Ryan for President.
Professor Xavier for VP.
John Rambo for Secretary of Defense.
Jack Bauer for Secretary of State (I initially thought defense, but decided he is far better at offense).
Forrest Gump for Treasury Secretary.
"Red" politicians now read Marvel Comics.
"Blue" politicians now read DC Comics.
Japan invades middle east and uses it as a testing ground for gigantic robots, and experiments in genetic mutations, allowing for US troop withdrawls from Iraq.
Palestine goes "Oh shit" and works with Israel to build robot repair facilities.

Gravel seems cool, though sometimes a little ****ed up, like he has some darkness inside of him. I say RON PAUL ALL THE WAY, the only guy who actually speaks out against the fed and things most people dont know about yet.
