I was listening to MOG tonite and they touched on assassin creed. I cut up the podcast so you can listen. It sounds ****ing awesome. I was gonna try to explain it, but there is so much i cant do it justice. Its more then it seems is all ill say and it sounds even cooler then before. So take a listen to this....

I cant wait for this game is all i have to say. This takes the story to a new level to match the game play. I cut out the other stuff, but man there seems to be a lot of fun sounding games coming out in the next 2-3 months. Gonna be a good rest of the year baby. Props to MOG for the info.

From the little bit I listened they were speculating that there were futuristic elements?

This has been speculated since the gameplay footage that came out a while ago.

Yeah, that pretty much common knowledge. And the fact that you work for something called "The Agency" doesn't really jive with the ancient theme.

right on, this seems to me to be a little more then speculation though, citing the source and going into what i think is a interesting conversation about the game which led to things i at least didnt know about. But i think you gotta listen to the whole clip i put up to get it all. Either way, i found it exciting, so hopefully someone else does too.

It's always been pretty solid speculation, this was seen when Altair died back in the old gameplay video.

I definitely noticed all the little digital effects on the people not to mention characters being highlighted as you pass by them. I had a speculation because of the way that title credits would flash on screen with a sort of futuristic font.

I also thought it was a stylistic choice.

Kristen Bell also spoiled the plot in an interview last year...

"It's sort of based on the research that's sort of happening now, about the fact that your genes might be able to hold memory. And you could argue semantics and say it's instinct, but how does a baby bird know to eat a worm, as opposed to a cockroach, if its parents don't show it? And it's about this science company trying to, Matrix-style, go into peoples brains and find out an ancestor who used to be an assassin, and sort of locate who that person is."

I thought something was always off about that digital swirling effect around everyone in the game. It's definitely gotta be some sort of time travel or futuristic experiment plot like "Timeline" or "A Sound of Thunder".
