Mine is Shenmue for the Dreamcast.(I bet most of you never heard of it so I provided some links and yeah I am a HUGE fan of this game/experience :p )

Shenmue was pretty freakin' awesome on the DC, I'll give you that. But I have to remain loyal to my all time favorite. This is the only time I have ever bought a system just so I could play the game. I think you know where I am going with this. Final Fantasy VII wins in my book, hands down.

Wow, my favorite game ever would have to be Sonic 3 linked together with Sonic and Knuckles. That game was purely awesome AND it had a save feature. I spent a ton of time on that/these games and I've got every super emerald for every character. When I tried a 32X, LOL, it wiped the game clean, which gave me another reason to get everything all over again.:D
Indeed, Final Fantasy VII was also really awesome.

perfect dark for the console and either starcraft of Diablo 2 for the computer ive spent countless hours on all 3 of these games

Legend of Dragoon for the PS1
Chrono Trigger for the SNES.
That's a hard question.
It's either Super Mario Bros or Counter Strike.

If I was never introduced to a Dreamcast I bet Super Mario 64/World would be my top fave games.
Another couple games I love is Skies of Arcadia and Grandia II
