It seems as though all the europeans say that. I've seen both versions but I still think the american one is MUCH funnier. Is that just my humor? Or is it because I'm american?

I guess everyone has their own tastes. Personally, I was bought up on shows like Blackadder, Red Dwarf and The Young Ones so I may be somewhat biased to UK humour. I always liked the UK host, Clive Anderson, more as well. His lines seemed a little less forced or rushed. Again, that's IMHO.

If you're wanting something a little different, try QI (Quite Interesting). Stephen Fry hosting a quiz show with celebrity contestants, like Hugh Laurie and Bill Bailey:

Alton Brown described this as the "longest five minutes of your life." One of the things that makes pizza perfect for take-out is that you never want to eat it straight out of the oven. The pizza's thermodynamic properties seem to deliver the heat straight to your mouth.
